Check Out Piper Reese’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Piper Reese.

Hi Piper, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I always loved to talk wayyy too much and I needed an outlet. We realized quickly that I needed to be performing for a lot of reasons. I really love making people smile, laugh, and really love helping society think about something important, like bullying and self-expression… if you were to ask my parents, they’d say I always feel like I need to be a part of the conversation, which is something that continued into my career :-D.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Haha, never smooth in this industry, but in a good way. I think you’re always struggling in entertainment and if I wasn’t, I probably wouldn’t be working hard enough. For me, part of my drive and motivation comes from that constant struggle and I’d get bored in a field that didn’t have that very easily. I think because there is always gonna be new competition or “the next best thing” you have to constantly keep fighting 🙂 .

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am definitely most proud of my acting work. I’ve gotten to a point where I truly feel authentic when I’m performing and I think that really makes a huge difference. Getting into the headspace of a character can be an amazing way to get outside of your own head too haha! I think what sets me apart is my drive and my determination. I’ve been performing since seven and I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon. I recently was in From Under The Bridge: When Bullies Become Trolls and I’m very proud of my work in that. I also just released a single called “Difficult Girl” 🎸. Something else that I think sets me apart is I really genuinely care about being a good role model and it’s very important to me. I don’t think Gen Z has enough positivity, light, and…. sparkle ✨! I plan on continuing to focus on that. ❤️

Any big plans?
So, for the past few months I’ve been hosting videos for indie game developer Oh Bibi’s huge game FRAG Pro Shooter. We’ve partnered on a secret project that was just released this week. There are two brand new “Fraggers” (playable characters) based on my likeness: Piper Reese and her doppelgänger, EVIL Piper. This type of collaboration is a first for both of us. My Dad, Adam Feinsilver (who is also my partner on Piper’s Picks and my manager) and I wrote and produced a comedy short for the launch where I play 5 characters from FRAG Pro Shooter. It’s SNL-level funny! Definitely something you need to see! http://piper.tv/s/castingcall

Also, I’m heading to London with my producer and writer/director for From Under the Bridge: When Bullies Become Trolls for a few meetings on different potential projects and to screen our film. I’ll actually have the opportunity to speak about cybebullying with students at our director’s (Paul James Houton’s) alma mater, Lealands High School. I’m looking forward to working with MeganMeierFoundation.org to help reach more teens as well. People see a lot of sparkle in the entertainment industry, but reaching people and making a positive difference in their lives is a major priority to me.
