Meet Sainvil

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sainvil.

So, before we jump into specific questions about your music, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born and raised in Miami in a Haitian household. Growing up, my house was always filled with music and laugher. We loved to entertain ourselves and others. I was about ten years old when I started writing and creating music. But it was until my early 20’s when I started to take music seriously and wanted to release music. In my musical journey, I’ve lived in a lot of the musical hubs – Nashville, Atlanta, and now Los Angeles! I moved to LA to work with a producer friend and things have spiraled upward ever since! Alamo Records discovered me from a video uploaded on YouTube. Staying consistent and hard work got me with a Team that believes in me and continues to push me to new levels. I just released my second project, 2020 Was Hijacked. Available on all streaming platforms!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
With any career, there are tons of ups and downs. I think my biggest challenge at the moment remembers to find time for myself and personal happiness. Quarantine was a great time for that but now that we are getting back into the swing of things, it’s important to remember to incorporate that into your daily routine and schedule.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m a recording artist, songwriter, and producer. I mostly make sounds that fit into the R&B space but sometimes I venture into the hip-hop space, experimenting with double entendres and weird rhyme schemes. I think what sets me apart is my willingness to be transparent even when it means expressing feelings and situations that I’m not proud of.
