Meet Armin Missaghi of LA Design Build in Beverly Hills

Today we’d like to introduce you to Armin Missaghi.

Armin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Construction and design ran in the family, and I learned the craft early on from my father. I transformed my first home at 23 years old and then continued honing in on my skills over the years. I started LA Design Build and began working on high-end and luxury residential developments after earning all the necessary certifications, licenses and permits in order to grow my career within the industry.

Our firm specializes in modern design and contemporary trends. We are always transparent and open with our clients, which they appreciate and provides us with raving reviews and word of mouth referrals.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Over the years, we have been able to pivot the business despite obstacles the industry has faced. We’ve become one of the most prestigious developers in the region and continue to complete some of the most sought after, high-scale projects, such as the Nightingale development.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about LA Design Build – what should we know?
Currently, our main focus is the Nightingale project, which is a 12,900-square-foot modern luxury residence in one of Hollywood Hills’ most expensive neighborhoods. The area is known for its panoramic views of the city and ocean and designer estates that exude luxury and prestige. It’s actually nicknamed “Billionaires Row.” This residence is on Bird Street in Doheny Estates, which is a very sought after street in that upscale community. It’s a very impressive project, and this is our favorite at the moment.

The luxurious residence will feature a full-home, state-of-the-art Crestron automation system that makes it a smart estate. The most impressive feature has to be the car lift from the front door entrance that descends into the basement level (that’s one level down) so that the luxury car is displayed in a great room. The home also has seven bedrooms, a full-home gym, two swimming pools (one at each level), 4-car garage, spa with infrared sauna and the most amazing views. Right now, the project is almost 60% done and we are looking forward to wrapping it up in the coming months. It’s been a work in progress for the past 20 months, and it’s the pinnacle of my portfolio.
I had worked with the homeowner on a previous project, and he enjoyed working with us and loved the finished result we provided him. Of course, my team and I jumped at the opportunity to lend our design and development skills. This project is the culmination of everything we’ve worked for at LA Design Build, and it’s the most prestigious project I’ve done personally.

Adding the Nightingale development to our portfolio cements LA Design Build’s presence, ability and skills when it comes to developments of this grand magnitude.

Looking back, we’ve completed more than 180 residential projects and already lined up so much more. We’ve really grown our upscale development reputation in the industry and look forward to garnering more success with each project we complete.

We’ve been able to create a management-style company, so we take care of the entire project in-house – from the design, construction and the management of it all. We also provide quality work, are detailed oriented and have superior customer relations – we don’t just concentrate on customer service.

We’re always looking toward the future and currently, we plan to expand our already reputable presence in the Los Angeles upscale development industry. Nightingale is our piece de resistance and we look forward to adding it to our portfolio. We have some more exciting luxurious projects coming up and we can’t wait to discuss them.
