Today we’d like to introduce you to Julietta.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Julietta. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
How I started…. by believing that I could! The music industry is a very intimidating one. Full of insane talent and competition. I grew up always loving the theater and music, however I was very nervous to jump in. After college, I decided there was nothing else that could make me happier and that I needed to commit to my happiness above all else. So, I jumped in! Music is therapy, and my thought is – if I could surround myself with self-discovery and commitment to self, then I am winning no matter what happens.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Life hasn’t been a smooth road for me since I became an adolescent. There have always been obstacles challenging me and my resilience. Some of the struggles have been embracing the slow growth. Slow growth can be painful because it inspires me to study every aspect of my journey. Sometimes without enough compassion and more judgment. The courage to keep going no matter what the numbers look like, knowing you have enough love to keep the passion alive.
Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I write songs about my life in my perspective. My hope is that others will relate and begin to have deeper conversations. I want to inspire others to be honest about their lives and how to awaken, become the best versions of our selves. I believe that is what will change the world.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have gone to school for music to meet more musicians and further challenge my skills.
