Thanks for sharing your story with us Greta. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
It all started after I had my son and felt out of place because of the overwhelming change that came with being a new mother. I went through postpartum depression and just felt so lost but so happy to have this incredible baby who lit up my life. After months of crying and feeling sorry for myself, I finally decided that it was time to get back on my feet and restrategize my life. I had no idea what was next but I knew it had to be something that brought back that fire and passion I lost and so desperately wanted back. I started watching inspiring and motivational documentaries, listening to podcasts and reading. I slowly started to get my mojo back and it felt amazing! I then started deep thinking about what I saw myself doing for the rest of my life. I knew I no longer wanted to be a beauty blogger because it just didn’t fulfill me like it used to and plus I had a new outlook on life and knew I wanted to impact women in a different way. So, I started an empowerment podcast where I brought inspiring women (like the co-founder of OPI) to share their success stories. Simultaneously, I started working on my brand, Plan Chicly. The fire inside me was starting to spark and I knew I was on the path I was meant to be on.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Life is never a smooth road, and same goes for business. You will fail and you will learn and move on. Its all about your perspective, don’t look at failure as failure look at it as a learning lesson and you’ll only become stronger and wiser. One of the biggest struggles I had, in the beginning, was finding the right factory, very difficult to do but you learn so much with every business interaction.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is setting a goal and accomplishing it. It’s taking my time to make something the best that it can be and for me, I’m never satisfied with the monetary gains of a product (although that’s always a perk) but rather how my products make my customer feel, how it aids them in achieving their own goals, and how it inspires them to never give up!
