Zachary, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.

It was those kinds of choices that led our founder, Nikolai, to set out from Russia forty years ago, and create a vodka more pristine than any that had come before. One that would honor the sacrifice and endurance he witnessed among his fellow oil workers in Siberia.

Seeking the most organic ingredients available, his journey led to Austria’s mountainous Voralberg region, where he found four ancient strains of non-GMO rye able to deliver a distinct flavor profile with a soft, natural, slightly sweet finish. When combined with oxygen-rich underground Alpine water from the Rätikon Massiv, the result was unmistakable. A vodka as bold and true as its inspiration, which he named NEFT — Russian for “oil” — to honor its heritage.

Today, that original recipe has arrived in America as the finest ultra-premium micro-batch vodka available. Together with a multiple-distillation process and carbon-layer filtration, NEFT’s exceptional purity and smooth, refined taste is being celebrated in competitions nationwide. Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
NEFT is currently in a number of cities across the United States from LA to NYC with more coming in 2020. We love our Southern California roots, but our vodka is meant to travel and seek out the best across the country. There isn’t a road in life without challenges, what most find ‘least’ favorable about their place we find invigorates us. As such, we’ve yet to find a city we don’t love; and love making history with.
