Today we’d like to introduce you to Seven Pappanastos, Christian Valdez, and Micah Respicio.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Seven, Christian, and Micah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We arose from the primordial waters drenched in sweat, pure unadulterated anxiety pumping through our bodies. We frantically began to seek dry land and we’ve been searching for it ever since. – Seven

An asteroid flew past Mars at 13 kilometers a year eventually hitting the side of the planet Osnore. After it hit the planet, three small Martian babies each took a gem. The gems were previously located inside the asteroid. – Micah

I have an alternative story if you want it. – Christian

What is your alternative story? – Seven

After escaping from the clutches of the industrial technocrat worker farms colloquially known as public education, we formed the collective jaguar cult m. The Jaguar then passed from this realm and was reincarnated as the spirit of the Sour Cage. Now here we are. – Christian

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
We record on tape machines so we have an intense experience recording. Tape quality is so lifelike. It makes you notice all kinds of things about your playing. Recording is stressful since we try to maintain this DIY ethic. Shows are a whole different ball game. We all love performing and we dive in at every opportunity. – Seven

Before the band can make a decision, we each have to tear out a tooth and swear on it. We ran out of teeth a couple of months ago. – Christian

Sour Cage – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from others?
We’re a collective known as Sour Cage that produces noise. We bang instruments. We specialize in sneakin’ freakin’ and groovin’. Our sneak stocks have risen at least 15 percent and we keep a steady workflow of 44 mpf. – Christian

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I want people to feel the music. I want them to tune into the vibrational energy and experience something new. Current goals of ours include making fresh recordings and playing engaging shows. – Seven
