Meet David & Jimmy Schuelke of Twin Home Experts in Van Nuys

Today we’d like to introduce you to David & Jimmy Schuelke.

Thanks for sharing your story with us David & Jimmy. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We were taught the plumbing trade from our father Dave Schuelke during our high school days, she wanted to give us something to fall back on if college or our future career choice did not go as planned after graduation.

We moved Los Angeles after being approached by a Talent agent in the Sherman oaks galleria, whom we signed with and started auditioning as Twins immediately after.

We landed a Jeep Tv commercial in 1994 for the winter olympics, that took off for us and from that, we were cast on the show EXTRA and many other TV shows with a few movies. Although it was fun, we knew deep inside that the plumbing business is where we could do some great things.

We began to focus more on our business as to ways we can better serve our customers, how we can be unique in a trade that so desperately was needed. Perception of plumbers is Show up late, walk in with dirty boots, and have a crack.

We wanted to change this perception, and show that plumbing industry can be professional, clean and responsive.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There is always obstacles and challenges along the way in any success. Some of the biggest challenges, is growing from just a one “chuck in a truck ” to hiring the right people that customers will like and respect, especially when we are all about delivering a 5 star experience on every service call.

The challenge was so great, that we built an in house training center that we use for our new hires. This has been very beneficial

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Twin Home Experts – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a 24/7 Plumbing, HVAC, Leak detection, Mold & water damage company serving the Los Angeles Metro area.

We also have expanded to phoenix and Scottsdale Az.

Customers appreciate our rapid response and the fact we can provide completing the entire job from repairs to putting their property back together. Our pricing method is also greatly appreciated by customers, as we provide choices based on their budgets, warranties and needs.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Los Angeles is a great city to do business, as it allows us opportunities to continue to grow in other areas, We are about to launch “Rent An Expert” for those who cannot afford to pay for Home services to a company. We are super excited, as we love to help and give back to our community.

We are also going to grow our youtube channel (Twin home Experts)as we are beginning to see a great following.
