Meet Jose Escobar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Escobar.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I’m a street/portrait photographer based in Santa Ana, Orange County. I’m 17 I started photography when I was 14. Ever since I was young, I was fascinated by cameras. I started out using my phone to take pictures until I realized I had a passion for photography and I saved up to buy my first DSLR and lens.

Please tell us about your art.
I love sharing my creativity because it tells a story I can’t explain. My pictures have many different styles depending on what inspires me. Whether I’m shooting or editing I’m always listening to music because it keeps me motivated. I love learning new ways to edit or take pictures, and I hope people can learn from me.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
The biggest challenge artists are facing today is being able to stand out from other artists. It’s important to be different because there are a lot of different artists with different styles. You should explore your style and try to master it to be the best.
