Meet Sir, Please

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sir, Please.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
We all knew each other from our own personal work across our shared local music scene, but it wasn’t till one fateful jam session between lead singer Shane Cronin, guitarist, Michael Leese, and bassist, Josh Cronin that would ultimately conceive the foundation for what is now Sir, Please. During this time, talks of starting a band between the Cronin brothers and other local guitar player Marshall Via were being had, so the four young men decided to unite as one, and after a couple months of searching for a drummer, they adopted fourteen-year-old man child, David Kohn to hold down that funky groove baby.

Please tell us about your art.
We are passionate musicians and songwriters with the simple purpose of bringing people joy. Whether it be through lyrics that resonate, or a live show experience, our mission is to put a smile on your face, and a boogie in your woogie.

Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
Our advice is to try your hardest to be the best version of yourself you can possibly be, start a band with your best friends, and trust the process. One lesson we’ve learned so far is to always read our contracts.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
People can find our music on all digital music streaming platforms, and can support us by sharing with friends, and coming out to shows which we announce on our Instagram and website (@sirpleaseband, sirpleaseband.com)
