Today we’d like to introduce you to Brice Le Roux.
Hi Brice, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Thank you so much for having me. I’m genuinely excited to share my story and discuss the work that has become such a meaningful part of my journey.
Born and raised in Paris, France, many pieces had to fall into place for me to be living the life I live today. Looking back, becoming a hypnotherapist and performance coach in Los Angeles was far from the most predictable outcome. Coming from a classic yet rather artistic family, my formative years were defined by curiosity more than direction—a blend of intense academic study and travel, including a defining year in South Africa in the early 2000’s. That curiosity, combined with a growing desire for human connection, evolved into a people-centric career path when I settled back to Paris.
For close to 10 years, I worked as a journalist and an international spokesperson, engaging with the most diverse audiences throughout Europe. Those years taught me a lot. I witnessed first-hand the power of human connection and how it can shift everything in moments of crisis. I also began to notice something else. A pattern. No matter the country, background, or profession, people shared the same fundamental desires: to be happy, healthy, loved, and successful. Yet their daily decisions and behaviors often moved them in a different direction. I saw it everywhere. I saw it in myself. It felt as though an invisible, misaligned autopilot was quietly running the show and preventing us from living the life we really wanted to live.
That realization raised a gnawing question: Why does this gap exist, and more importantly, how can it be closed?
I moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to enroll at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, a globally recognized leader in hypnotherapy and behavioral science. Immersed in a community of like-minded seekers, I began studying human behavior and more specifically the subconscious mind—the unseen force shaping our decisions, habits, emotions, and ultimately, our lives. In 2014, I became a Board Certified Hypnotherapist and Performance Coach and soon after opened my private practice in West Los Angeles.
More than a decade later, the work still feels as meaningful as day one. I’ve witnessed extraordinary transformations: athletes unlocking peak performance, professionals stepping confidently onto stages they once feared, and individuals reclaiming clarity, balance, and purpose in their everyday lives.
At its core, my work is about identifying and resolving internal blockages (stress, anxiety, negative thinking, anger, addictions, fears) that operate beneath conscious awareness. I work mostly with entertainers, athletes, and business professionals to reshape the subconscious patterns driving their behavior. Together, we identify what’s been holding them back and methodically replace those patterns with more beneficial ones. Using a combination of hypnotherapy and mental coaching, the goal is simple: help clients live more empowering lives. The result isn’t just change. It’s measurable, lasting transformation.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Meaningful work comes with its own challenges. In the early years of my practice, demand grew quickly, and with it, the desire to help everyone. That approach quickly became unsustainable and like many practitioners, I had to learn that helping people doesn’t mean overextending yourself. By my third year of practice, I made a conscious shift and began referring people to trusted colleagues when needed. This allowed me to show up fully for the clients I did take on and build a strong network of professionals I respect, ensuring that anyone I couldn’t personally work with would still receive high-quality support.
A question began to take shape: How can I reach more people without diluting the quality of the work? That question became the foundation for what’s next. I’m currently developing a premium hypnotherapy app designed to make my work accessible beyond the confines of a private practice. The goal is to offer people proven tools to create meaningful change, on their own time, from their own space, at a more accessible price point. It’s not about replacing the work. It’s about expanding it.
If this journey has taught me anything, it’s that self-care is a requirement, not a luxury. Working closely with people’s inner lives demands emotional resilience. Without intentional self-care, burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary stress become inevitable. Making the time to take care of your own mind and body isn’t separate from the work—it’s what makes the work possible.
At the heart of everything I do is one simple mission: to help people close the gap between where they are and where they want to be. Not through willpower alone, but by changing the subconscious patterns quietly shaping their lives from within. That’s where real transformation happens. And it’s a journey I’m excited and grateful to be part of every single day.
We’ve been impressed with The Change Method, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Most human behavior stems from the subconscious mind and is driven by learned beliefs—some helpful, some not. The good news is that whatever we learn, we can unlearn and subconsciously relearn. I practice hypnotherapy and performance coaching, using hypnosis as a change-inducing tool to help quickly dissolve negative programming and create lasting shifts in mindset.
I primarily work with entertainers, athletes, and business professionals to help them redesign the subconscious part of the mind—the one that drives behavior, emotions, and performance—so they can move beyond what is holding them back and create measurable, positive change in their lives and careers.
