Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper & dancer Faym Official was born in Lagos Nigeria, Festac Town to be precise, he found public sensation at age 19 in 2016 with his second single “100” featuring Burna Boy. Over the years he has evolved his craft and grown into a prominent name in the worldwide industry.

I grew up listening to a lot of different types of music and mostly because my mom is in the church choir and my dad is a big hiphop fan, and it inspired me and helped me understand and evolve my talent, and it also pointed me in the right direction on my music journey and career

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, but is a fun and very personal journey, learning everyday and evolving everyday in sound and character, making relationships and even breaking relationships, all these events on the way shape me into who I will eventually become, a great artist

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an artist from Lagos, Nigeria and I have a versatile sound because I grew up listening to a lot of music, what sets me aside is my versatility
