Exploring Life & Business with Brianna Gamino of BGWorldTravel/DJ Briiz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Gamino.

Hi Brianna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up in the small town of Oxnard California. I always knew I wanted to experience what “else” was out there. Eventually, I moved to San Diego then Las Vegas, Post-Covid. I wanted to figure out how I could make money traveling since that was one of my greatest passions. I met a girl from London that had invited me into her Travel Business and I immediately took advantage of that opportunity and made it my own. I was so good at planning my own trips and I wanted to make traveling an opportunity for everyone who said they never had time to travel or didn’t have the money for it.

In creating this business, I have now been able to make money in the travel industry while being able to spend more time on my personal hobbies and generate income through Yoga teaching and DJing. I had learned both skills traveling abroad as well.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Nothing is ever a smooth road in life. It has been very rewarding, but anything we do has a cost. In life there are times when we lose friends, relationships fail, or we get stuck with what we are actually doing next. The most important thing is to pick yourself back up and keep moving. Believe in God and believe in yourself!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At BGWorldTravel, our goal is to create memorable and unforgettable experiences through travel. I feel as if most American people find ways to avoid traveling alone or do not travel at all because they overwork and so forth. Work is important, but I do find that most people I meet from other countries make travel a part of their lives which in turn gives them a greater outlook on life.

With becoming a DJ as DJ Briiz, I wanted to use music to express what I have learned music around the world and share it to people in my hometown. My Dad was a DJ, so music is in instilled with me. I feel it brings people together, which is important for us to connect without much thought.

Overall, my brand is a complete representation of who I am. I use to work in Hospitality and I realized traveling is truly a way for me to be more connected to different cultures, food, language, their lifestyle, etc. I’ve fully made a decision to dive deep into what I really believed in for myself and I’ve found such great meaning in that. I feel confident to share what I’ve learned along the way and that for me is a power within myself I could never describe. It’s nothing to do with material and everything to do with meaning. I’ve found a way to find true work-life balance which includes exploration apart from my busy lifestyle. I always try to feed into what I really want.

Traveling is what first and foremost brought me to this life, which I am forever grateful to God for that.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I love risk! As being the black sheep in my family, I don’t always feel they agreed with what I did but they always supported what I did in a loving way. I have risked my finances to travel, which I certainly do not regret, as well as putting myself out there when it comes to DJing in public and also teaching yoga classes. I never imagined myself doing these things growing up as an introvert but eventually grew into an extrovert. I’m the type of person that challenges myself to do something I wouldn’t normally do…just for fun! 😉
