Today we’d like to introduce you to Queen Blake.
Hi Queen , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started off by hearing a voice that told me to go “Straight To Hollywood”. It scared me but I knew that that’s what I wanted to do. I wanted to be an actress since I was 4 years old. I later told everyone and nobody believed me but my sister “Mary”….. My husband at the time thought I made it up. We later separated and I took my two kids and moved to Los Angeles from a Riverside.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t at first I didn’t know what to do, so I started hanging out with people who did. I met an actress name Dolly Gray and she helped me. I signed up with casting networks and started booking small gigs until they became not so small.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an actress, I also have a podcast called Queen’s tea. But, I’m an actress and my opinion matters I learned lol that from Instagram. I’m most proud of being a part of the “Micheal” movie that’s in theaters. I was a fan.
Trap Queens on bet +. On Trap Queens I was the friend of the biggest bank scammer in the world. You have to go see it. It was Season 4, Episode 8. I was Jaime Alder.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
That I may not have gotten a big roll yet but in the scenes I didn’t play small. I stand out and I am that character.
