Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosemarie Gomes.
Hi Rosemarie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a proud Cape Verdean American, born and raised in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. I was raised in the small town of Wareham, where my childhood was shaped by simplicity, community, and imagination. Surrounded by my Mother, My grandmother, and a strong tribe of women, I grew up hearing—again and again—that I could become anything in this world. I went on to spend my college years in New York City (PACE University), where I developed a real sense of hustle, grit, and work ethic, an experience that shaped how I move through business and life. Over the past decade, I’ve worked behind the scenes across business and entertainment, holding roles as a personal and executive assistant while helping brands, individuals, and celebrities refine their vision, market themselves effectively, and hone in on their businesses. Through that, I gained a deep understanding of how brands are built and how culture truly moves.
My path hasn’t been linear—it’s been shaped by experience, failure, observation, and a constant pull toward creating something meaningful of my own. I’ve always been drawn to spaces where creativity, wellness, and community intersect. The name Rose Gold Greenahaus comes not only because my name is Rosemarie, but I was names after my grandmother who still gardens, grows her own fruits and vegetables, which has always been inspiring and a way of life for my my family. Farm to table, just like my cannabis.
My relationship with cannabis evolved over time. What began as something recreational, social and a marketing position back in 2020, the industry slowly became something far more intentional for me. I started to see it as a tool for slowing down, reconnecting, and healing. At the same time, I recognized a gap in the industry, there weren’t many brands that reflected this sense of intention, particularly from a female perspective or one rooted in wellness. That realization became the foundation for everything I’m building today. I became entrenched into the growing process, learning about strains, terpene profiles, what worked for me , and what could work for others who may want to partake but don’t quite know where to start. Making cannabis less intimidating and more wellness forward.
I created Rose Gold Greenhaus as a reflection of that vision, a cannabis brand grounded in wellness, elevated design, and intentional experiences. It’s not just about the product, it’s about how it makes you feel. I wanted to create something that feels both luxurious and grounding—something that exists at the intersection of beauty, culture, and plant medicine. Central to that vision are our wellness initiatives: collaborations with yoga instructors who thoughtfully integrate intentional cannabis use into their practice, along with curated experiences like sound baths and breathwork sessions. Everything we offer is designed to support presence, balance, and deeper connection. We’re also committed to quality and integrity, offering only clean, sustainably cultivated flower.
As the brand has grown, so has the vision behind it. I’m not just building a cannabis company, I’m building an ecosystem. That includes developing a wellness journaling platform, producing community-driven experiences, and launching initiatives like Harvest to Heal, which focuses on giving back through wellness and plant-based healing. Everything we do is rooted in intention, connection, and creating spaces where people can feel good—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Of course, the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Navigating a highly regulated and often male-dominated industry requires resilience, adaptability, and strategy—from licensing and distribution to scaling operations while maintaining creative control. Each obstacle has pushed me to grow, refine my approach, and stay grounded in my purpose.
What I’m most proud of is the momentum we’ve built while staying aligned with our core values. From expanding operations to forming meaningful partnerships and entering retail, every step has been intentional. It’s never been about chasing rapid growth—it’s about building something that lasts and truly resonates.
At the core of everything I do is a simple mission: to shift how people experience cannabis, to move it beyond something transactional and into something intentional, elevated, and rooted in wellness. This isn’t just about building a brand, it’s about creating a feeling, a lifestyle, and a new way for people to connect with themselves and the world around them.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course, the journey has come with its share of challenges, many of them behind the scenes and rarely acknowledged. Securing capital in a highly regulated industry like cannabis, especially as a woman building independently, has required persistence, creativity, and an unshakable belief in the vision. There have been moments of feeling behind, questioning my timing, and doubting whether my process would come together the way I envisioned.
Building something from the ground up without constant validation can be isolating. There were seasons where I was carrying the weight of the business without applause, making decisions, solving problems, and pushing forward quietly. But those moments became defining. They forced me to trust my instincts, refine my discipline, and stay deeply connected to why I started in the first place.
At the same time, I’ve learned how to move strategically, staying ahead of the curve by leaning into innovation, observing shifts in culture, and building with intention rather than urgency. Even in uncertainty, I’ve remained committed to creating something differentiated, something that doesn’t just follow trends but helps shape them.
Those challenges didn’t slow me down, they sharpened me. They taught me how to navigate complexity, protect my vision, and lead with both resilience and clarity.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At my core, I’m a builder and a creative strategist. My work sits at the intersection of brand development, wellness, and cultural storytelling. I specialize in taking ideas, whether for a brand, a person, or an experience—and refining them into something tangible, intentional, and impactful. A lot of what I do is rooted in vision: seeing not just what something is, but what it can become, and then executing on that with precision.
Over the years, I’ve become respected for my ability to move behind the scenes and bring clarity to complexity. I’ve worked closely with brands, individuals, and public figures to help them shape their identity, market themselves authentically, and build something that actually resonates. Through my own brand, Rose Gold Greenhaus, I’ve expanded that into creating a full ecosystem rooted in wellness, intentional cannabis use, and community-driven experiences.
What sets me apart is my quiet observation and my unwavering confidence in what I see. I’m someone who pays attention, to energy, to patterns, and most importantly, timing. I don’t just follow trends, I understand them, often before they fully take shape. I have a strong eye for executing visions and connecting dots that aren’t always obvious to others. I visualize deeply, but more importantly, I know how to bring those visions into reality in a way that feels aligned and intentional.
What I’m most proud of is my ability to stay grounded in that vision, even when there’s no external validation. I’ve built and carried my work with a level of self-trust that allows me to keep going, refining, and evolving. For me, it’s not just about what I create, it’s about how I create it, and the intention behind every step.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I don’t really believe in luck in the traditional sense. I believe in purpose, alignment, and the energy you put into the world. For me, everything starts with putting God first in my endeavors and moving with intention in every decision I make.
I believe in good karma, how you treat people, how you show up, and the integrity you carry all come back to you in different forms. A lot of what others might call “luck,” I see as the result of staying aligned, being consistent, and trusting the process even when it’s not immediately clear.
I’ve also been blessed with a strong sense of discernment, and that’s played a major role in both my life and business. Knowing when to move, when to pause, who to align with, and what to walk away from has been more valuable than any stroke of luck. It’s allowed me to navigate challenges, protect my vision, and make decisions that are rooted in clarity rather than pressure.
So rather than luck, I’d say my journey has been guided by faith, intention, and alignment, and trusting that what’s meant for me will come as long as I continue to move with purpose.
