Today we’d like to introduce you to NoahQ XXX.
Hi Noah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Noah Q. Reed, House music Artist professionally known as NoahQxxx, is a new genre-blending artist raised in Chicago. Now based in Los Angeles, he merges house Music and hip-hop into a sound that feels underground , elevated, and emotionally charged. Before stepping into music, Noah built his creative foundation in fashion as the founder of Daisy McQuain, a luxury streetwear brand rooted in storytelling and individuality. That design-driven perspective now shapes his sonic identity.
With a growing presence and a distinct aesthetic, NoahQxxx is building more than a catalog — he’s building a world where music, fashion, and culture intersect.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Growing up in Chicago meant learning resilience early. There were moments of financial pressure, creative doubt, and the challenge of navigating industries that don’t always make space for artists who don’t fit neatly into one category.
Transitioning from fashion into music came with its own hurdles. Building credibility from scratch, funding projects independently, and staying consistent while developing a new sound has lead me to discover what I am the only thing stop my success. Relocating to Los Angeles also meant starting over in many ways, rebuilding networks and proving myself in a competitive creative landscape.
But those struggles shaped the foundation of who I am as an artist. They sharpened my vision, strengthened my discipline, and reinforced why I create in the first place.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a multidisciplinary creative — artist, designer, and creative director. Musically, I specialize in blending deep house with hip-hop textures and rock energy to create something atmospheric but emotionally grounded. My sound is intentional and immersive — it’s meant to feel like a world, not just a song.
What I’m most proud of is building everything independently. Every release, every activation, every collaboration has been intentional and self-driven. I’ve built my foundation from the ground up, and that ownership allows me to stay authentic.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just make music, I architect experiences.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
One of the biggest risks I took was relocating to Los Angeles in 2016. I left behind familiarity and comfort to step into an environment where I had to rebuild my network and prove myself creatively. Another major risk was transitioning from fashion into music. I had already established myself as a designer with Daisy McQuain, but starting over in a new industry meant stepping back into a beginner mindset, investing my own resources, and accepting that growth wouldn’t be instant.
