Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Burger.
Hi Alexandra, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from Virginia, but I always knew California was where I wanted to build my life. I got my start in real estate working at an escrow company, which gave me a strong behind the scenes understanding of how transactions work. While I learned a lot there, I realized pretty quickly that sitting behind a desk wasn’t where I felt most aligned. I wanted to be out in the field, building relationships and helping people through big milestones.
I decided to take my real estate courses, earn my license, and fully step into the Orange County market. Since then, I’ve focused on growing a business rooted in authenticity, strong local knowledge, and creating a supportive experience for clients while building a name for myself in the communities I love most.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like many agents starting out, I had to learn how to build momentum in a competitive market while still finding my own voice and approach. Real estate requires patience, consistency, and the ability to stay grounded even when things feel uncertain, especially in the early stages.
I truly believe that every challenge comes with a lesson, and I’ve learned to embrace the process of growing through each phase of my career. I love learning, evolving, and refining how I show up both personally and professionally. Those experiences have made me more adaptable, more resourceful, and more intentional about building a business that feels authentic to who I am.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is built around relationships, local knowledge, and creating an experience that feels personal rather than transactional. I work with buyers, sellers, and clients relocating within Orange County, and I focus heavily on helping people find communities and lifestyles that truly align with them, not just properties. I’m known for being hands on, approachable, and deeply connected to the areas I serve, which allows me to guide clients with both strategy and real insight into the market. My personal experiences have also shaped how I understand what people are really looking for in a home, from lifestyle to long term comfort and connection.
What sets me apart is the way I’ve blended real estate with authenticity and lifestyle. I’ve built my brand around showing the real side of the journey, from exploring neighborhoods to sharing the everyday moments that make Orange County such a special place to live. Brand wise, I’m most proud of creating something that feels genuine to who I am while still maintaining a strong professional presence. I want readers to know that my goal is always to make the process feel supportive, informed, and empowering from start to finish.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something that might surprise people is how much I value personal growth and self reflection behind the scenes. While my work often shows the lifestyle and real estate side of things, I spend a lot of time learning, setting goals, and focusing on becoming a better version of myself both personally and professionally. That constant evolution has shaped how I show up for my clients and how I’ve built my brand.
Outside of real estate, I feel most grounded when I’m outdoors, whether that’s hiking, camping, or enjoying the beautiful Orange County beaches. Being close to nature keeps me inspired and connected to the lifestyle that originally drew me to California and that I love sharing with others.
