Through her work as an embodiment coach, Kathleen Aharonian helps people move beyond mindset shifts and into true, body‑based healing rooted in safety, self‑trust, and self‑love. Drawing from her own journey through trauma, stress, and spiritual awakening, Kathleen shares how practices like breathwork and somatic awareness became the missing link in her healing—and now form the foundation of her intimate 1:1 coaching and experiential offerings. In this conversation, she reflects on embodiment as the bridge between manifestation and well‑being, the power of clearing subconscious conditioning, and why reconnecting with the body is essential to creating a life that truly feels aligned.
Hi Kathleen, thank you so much for taking the time to share your work and heart with our readers. You focus deeply on embodiment rather than mindset alone, so let’s jump right in — what led you to this approach, and how did your own healing journey shape the way you now guide others?
I took my first manifestation course in 2018, which opened me up and helped me see that manifestation was real. Prior to this, I didn’t really know what manifestation was and didn’t believe in spirituality or any of this. While this program helped me start shifting my mindset and manifesting. I was feeling pretty awful about myself. I was still very stressed out and living in fear due to the fact that I grew up with severe trauma that included physical and mental abuse. Due to this, I started to feel like there was a missing piece, and one day, my friend invited me to a Soundbath/Breathwork session. It was during this session that I felt something lift off of me and felt the calmest I had ever felt. I started attending sessions every week. Sometimes it was just Breathwork sessions. This is what helped me really heal and clear layers of trauma living in my body. That’s when I started to put the pieces together and realized the real key is Embodiment. Who cares if you manifest things if you don’t feel good within yourself and aren’t healthy overall? Your health and well-being are everything.
You often speak about reconnecting people to their true soul desires rather tan ego-driven goals. How do you help clients distinguish between what they feel they “should” want and what they genuinely desire at a deeper level?
I feel like it’s just a knowing you have. It usually feels light and good. When you’re doing something from your ego, it tends to be heavy and fear-based. The fact is, many of us struggle to distinguish between the two due to the conditioning we’ve received throughout our lives. So we start to release those things to get to the core of what you truly desire. When you sit with yourself and release all the noise, you’ll def. start to notice the difference between the two. Sometimes you just need some guidance with it. Which is where I come in.
Your Embodied 1:1 coaching container is intentionally small and intimate. What shifts do you see happen when clients receive that level of focused, personalized attention, and who tends to thrive most in this kind of work?
The shifts depend on the person and their individual goal for working with me. But, a few shifts I’ve seen are a boost in confidence, self-love, gaining clarity, feeling happier, and feeling calmer, which in turn helps you show up for your goals/desires and manifest them. I’ve had people manifest dream offices, money, clients, and sales in their business. I have numerous testimonials people can see when they opt. in to my offerings, and my testimonial highlights on IG – www.instagram.com/
You’re also hosting a 3-day experience called LOVED, centered on self-love, clearing emotional blocks, and raising vibration. What inspired this experience, and what do you hope women walk away feeling or understanding about themselves afterward?
The event was inspired because February is Valentine’s day and I’m a big believer that you can’t really experience love if you don’t have self-love. You can only allow love to the extent you’re feeling that way internally. Due to this the experience is being held February 10-12, right before Valentine’s Day. It’s a great gift to yourself and even a great experience to come with your friends for Galentine’s. I was also inspired to create it because I have a 30-day program, “Love Within,” where I guide you to boost self-love and raise your vibration. This smaller experience gives clients an idea of what being in my offerings and working with me looks like. In case they’d like to get a feel before making a bigger commitment. I trust those who attend will get exactly what they came to get in those 3-days. It will be different for everyone. But my intention is for them to leave feeling happier and more in love with themselves. We’re going to spend three days clearing out and releasing subconscious conditioning and writing a new story about how they desire life to feel and be moving forward.
For someone who feels disconnected from their body, stuck in old patterns, or weighed down by conditioning and unprocessed emotions, what’s one gentle but powerful first step you’d encourage them to take toward embodiment and self-love?
