Hidden Gems: Meet Kri Peck of CR8 Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kri Peck.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My career started when I realized I was naturally drawn to helping others and connecting people. That’s the core of what a publicist does.

I remember being in elementary school, knowing where all the hottest events in town were taking place, what school was playing the high school football team, and of course, the latest gossip.
I began my professional publicity journey as a sophomore in college at Georgia State University. This is where I learned the fundamentals of publicity and journalism. I scored an internship at a boutique PR Agency called, the CR8 Agency. At the time, the agency had only one client. In no time, I got a full time role as Account Manager. The agency is now valued at over $1 Million and is thriving. As the company grew and expanded, I decided to source clients on the west coast, which brought me to Hollywood.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but I’m grateful for the challenges because they shaped my work ethic and the way I approach my career. One of the biggest hurdles early on was learning how to balance my personal life, college, and my career. I quickly learned that there is little to no “off time” in the entertainment industry. It’s a constant hustle.

Looking back, those experiences were turning points for me. They helped me become more resourceful, more focused, and more intentional about the direction I wanted my career to go. I wouldn’t say it’s been perfect, but every challenge has given me something valuable that I carry with me today. I work extremely well under pressure because of those early challenges.

As an award-winning publicist, I’ve successfully spearheaded high-profile campaigns for some of the most influential brands, networks, and talent in the industry. Now located in Los Angeles, my impressive portfolio includes work with renowned corporations such as Netflix, Peacock, Viacom, Hulu, Apple TV+, Lifetime, A&E Networks, Adult Swim, Zeus Network, and many more. With my expertise and dedication, I continue to make a significant impact in the entertainment world.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Change is inevitable. You have to keep growing and changing with the world. This is what life is all about. Don’t lose sight of your core values, but we must never stop growing.
