Funkhouse Films was started to give more artists a platform to showcase their talents, helping people build careers in the film industry while providing for their families. What other way to do it than to have a production company that is inclusive and thought-provoking?

Driven by the belief that cinema has the power to change hearts, minds, and even the world. We’re committed to telling stories that provoke thought, spark conversation, and inspire action. We want to create experiences that stay with you long after the credits roll, that challenge your assumptions, and that remind you of the boundless potential of the human spirit. Funkhouse Films is more than just a company; it’s a movement, a celebration of filmmaking pushing perception beyond boundaries.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a production company, we constantly navigate a challenging landscape. Securing funding for projects is always a hurdle, requiring us to pitch compelling stories to investors who may have different visions. Balancing creative ambitions with budgetary constraints demands innovative problem-solving and resourcefulness. Furthermore, the industry is incredibly competitive, with numerous companies vying for attention, making it crucial to stand out with unique and high-quality content. Finally, managing logistics, coordinating talent, and adhering to tight deadlines all add to the complexity of bringing a project from concept to completion.

Funkhouse Films is an innovative production company focused on delivering fresh, new stories. Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Funkhouse Films stems from my childhood passion for entertaining. As a child, I would often amuse my family by making them laugh and acting out stories. This passion followed me through middle school, high school, and college, where I studied theater and filmmaking. By combining these interests with my love for entertainment, I brought my dream and vision for Funkhouse Films to life through the art of filmmaking.
