Check Out Mónica Rodriguez’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mónica Rodriguez.

Hi Mónica , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It started with a family tragedy. Two of my brothers and my mother all passed away due a degenerative illness, (cancer). A necessity arose within me to inform myself and those around me of how to better our habits to avoid health issues of many sorts.
Together with my husband, Rafael, we started Healthy Connection. Our first first shop was started in Lincoln Heights.. Now we have 10 Distributors who share the same passion to fulfill our mission in California and three in other states. Along with a few in Mexico. We know we still have a lot of work to be done and welcome those who share our vision to help others and themselves along the way.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the toughest challenges was to find equilibrium between the time that a business needs to flourish and that of the time for family events.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We are focused on bringing together Nutrition, Exercise and Community.

We are known for our one to one attention to individuals needs and creating solutions specifically for their needs.

We are also known for having our supplements in stock and available on the spot.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
For us, assisting seminars, trainings and presentations along with collaborations has all worked and we cascade that to our team leaders and ask that they do the same.
