Hi Sarah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From a young age, I’ve always been driven and entrepreneurial — constantly taking on side hustles and selling whatever was trending at the time. I earned my degree in Health Sciences, but my passion for aesthetics and medicine truly began while working in a salon during college. I started as a receptionist and eventually became a store manager, learning firsthand what it takes to run a successful beauty business. The salon’s owner, a young female entrepreneur, inspired me to pursue my own path in the industry.
After graduation, I transitioned into the medical field and joined a surgical practice under Dr. Lorenzi, where I worked alongside Diana — who is now my business partner. Together, we combined our love for aesthetics, our medical background, and our shared vision for patient care to create what is now Skin Maison Laser & Aesthetics.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s never a smooth road, especially as a young business owner. Every day brings new challenges, and doing so much of it on my own — without family or friends in this industry — came with its own set of obstacles. In the beginning, one of the hardest parts was managing finances and keeping the business afloat without any reserve in the bank. There were moments of uncertainty, but I had to learn to be resourceful and stay focused on the bigger picture. Building a brand, earning trust, and creating strong rapport with patients has always been my top priority. It’s been a journey of resilience, adaptability, and faith in the vision we’re building.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Spending time with my grandma is my favorite childhood memory. We were inseparable and did everything together — from drawing and picking fruit from the trees in our backyard to making homemade recipes in the kitchen. Those moments were simple but so special, and they’re a big part of why I value connection, creativity, and care in everything I do today.
