Meet Lealanie Bennett of Sculpt Aesthetics. Med Spa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lealanie Bennett.

Hi Lealanie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my nursing career in 2014 after earning my Bachelor’s degree from West Coast University. Shortly after passing my boards, I worked as an ICU nurse specializing in neuro care for ten years. When COVID-19 hit, working in the ICU became incredibly challenging, and I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a business owner. I founded my first business, LB Sculpt, focusing on body sculpting. In 2022, I transitioned this venture into Sculpt Aesthetics Med Spa, offering a wide range of services designed to help everyone look and feel their best. Some of my favorite treatments include Botox, EZ Gel, Morpheus 8, and Laser Hair Removal.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It certainly hasn’t been an easy journey. Starting my business in the midst of COVID-19 may not have been the optimal decision, but I believe it has played a crucial role in shaping me into the resilient business owner I am today. Facing these challenges has given me the confidence that I can overcome anything. I continue to learn and grow every day, but now I am fortunate to have great mentors and support systems in place to guide me along the way now.

Sculpt Aesthetics Med Spa is dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best through a range of advanced aesthetic treatments. We specialize in non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, CO2, Morpheus 8, microneedling, and body contouring. Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Absolutely! For anyone just starting out in the aesthetic or med spa world, my biggest tip is to prioritize education. I made it a point to learn everything I could about all treatments and I learned from everyone and anyone willing to teach. There’s always more to learn out there, so stay hungry for knowledge.

Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques, tech, and safety protocols—continuing education and certifications are key. And most importantly, stay true to yourself. Don’t just copy what others are doing; your authenticity is what will truly set you apart.

If I could go back, I’d tell myself to start slow. Don’t rush into buying every new product or gadget that a rep pitches you as the “next big thing.” Take your time, do your research, and remember—the right technology or product will still be there when you’re ready for it.

Also, don’t overlook the power of branding and marketing. Building a strong, trustworthy brand from the beginning can really give you a leg up. And above all, be patient and persistent. Success in this industry comes from dedication, ongoing learning, and always staying true to your values.
