For over 45 years, Creative Window Designs and Beach Drapery have specialized in creating personalized environments with the finest window covering products available. The company was founded by my father as a premier window treatment company to service home builders, interior designers, and home owners to make the ambiance of their home match the quality of their lifestyle.
Historically, Creative Window Designs has serviced private home owners and Beach Drapery has serviced the premier builders in Orange County. As both companies grow, Beach Drapery is poised to expand and work with the elite high end private home owners that require a larger and more sophisticated offering.
Orange County is one of the most beautiful places in the world and it’s a great place to live and work. The coastal access and sophisticated lifestyle makes this a destination market where people are inspired to raise beautiful families and grow successful businesses. We’re honored to serve this thriving region and community.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s not really a challenge, but it’s special and worth mentioning that Orange County has a unique culture that’s significantly different from our neighbors in Los Angeles or San Diego.
Covering a wide geography from San Diego up through North Orange County there is a range of culture and community. A common thread through Orange County is the importance of strong values, trust and reputation. It’s really a small town and everyone is connected. Relationships go back generations and we’re honored to be a solid foundation in the artistic community. Art and creativity range from physical paintings and sculpture to advertising and business with creative problem solving. Being able to contribute, enhance and continue to serve this coastal community is a blessing.
CWD’s clientele is nothing short of amazing. We are so incredibly lucky to hold such valuable relationships with so many of Orange County’s premier business and design leaders, which has been a big contributing factor to the longevity of our company. As a woman business owner, I’m especially proud of the culture we’ve created for employees and customers. We encourage growth and support passions at each step along the process. Internally, we’ve launched a corporate wellness program that supports the health and well-being of our people. Externally, the care and partnership we share with each client aligns with our values and results in strong long-lasting relationships.

The credit would go to our people, the employees that make up our company. Some have been with us for over 25 years. Some themselves are family which helps build on our company’s values and closeness.
