Good morning Fenanda , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I like to wake up everyday before anyone in the house does. That way I can start my day with some quiet time which is very needed.
My first 90 minutes looks like this…
First, coffee.
Then I like to take some time to read my devotional. Faith is a strong part of my life and I cannot start my day without first dedicating some time to reading, meditating on what I learn through the devotional, writing and praying.
I then get ready for my day by getting dressed, walking our dog, waking up the kids and getting breakfast ready for them as well as snacks and lunch for school. Once we are out of the house the day starts…
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Fernanda. I’m a local Realtor to Los Angeles. I’m located in the San Fernando Valley but I service Los Angeles county and Ventura County. I absolutely love what I do. I connect homes, hearts and people through buying, selling and leasing homes.
What I love most about what I do is the connection I make to every client. Whether they need to sell their home and move on to another chapter of their life, or if they are buying their first home which is always so exciting! There is always a story behind the reasons and that is what I love most. Being able to help them achieve their next goal, take the next step towards a dream is such a blessing.
I enjoy walking each client in their situation step by step in the process of moving, making it an easy transition for them. Seeing the final result and the excitement is priceless.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
The moment I realized this is my life and I get to live it the way I see fit. I think in that moment you give yourself the freedom to do what you really enjoy, to maybe make a career jump to something that really fulfills you.
When you get to that realization in life, that’s when you start living. That’s when you let go of all the things that don’t align with the life you are creating for yourself.
Do you remember a time someone truly listened to you?
My kids always listen.
If we observe kids more we would all realize that they are the ones who are teaching us and not the other way around. My kids are always ready and willing to truly listen and that’s all they want from us parents. For us to truly listen to them and be present.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That the longer you are in the industry the more experience you have.
Real Estate is not that kind of industry. You have to keep up with the changes in laws, the changes in technology, the trends, the market shifts. Real Estate is an industry where you only obtain experience if you are fully emerged at all times.

I am not here trying to please anyone. I’m here to do the right thing and when you do, you’ll know and that will be enough. We know in our hearts when we are doing the right thing and that feeling alone is all the praise I need.
