Today we’d like to introduce you to Rodrigo Gracie.

Rodrigo, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my jiu-jitsu training at the age of four.
I chose to follow my family’s legacy and embarked on a professional fighting career.
At a certain stage in my fighting journey, I achieved a ranking among the top five in the world.
I became victorious in numerous global fighting organizations such as Pride FC, ADCC, and K1-MMA.
Having retired from competitive fighting, I now operate a school in Torrance and lead seminars internationally.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has primarily been a smooth path. Challenges are an inherent aspect of it.
In the presence of significant achievements, there will also be considerable errors. We advance and grow through our mistakes.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am currently an instructor of Gracie jiu-jitsu.
Achieving a high level, like a black belt in jiu-jitsu, typically requires a minimum of 10 years or even longer.
I am a member of the renowned Gracie Family.
I have achieved numerous victories and have fought with pride to uphold my family’s fighting legacy.
Now, I devote my life to teaching both children and adults how to protect themselves.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The practice of jiu-jitsu is set to continue its growth as an increasing number of individuals are recognizing the beneficial results associated with it.
