Today we’d like to introduce you to Rozita.
Hi Rozita, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design and a specialization in Interior Architectural Design from UCLA, my journey has always been rooted in a deep passion for design. Before transitioning into interior architecture, I successfully ran businesses in fashion, clothing, and jewelry—experiences that shaped my creative foundation and sharpened my attention to detail.
My career in interior architectural design began with a large-scale residential project for a renowned developer in Beverly Hills. That project opened doors to a wide range of opportunities, including high-end residential homes, commercial spaces, medical offices, and apartment buildings across Southern California.
I approach every project as if it were my own—infusing it with heart, innovation, and an uncompromising dedication to quality. My work spans diverse locations such as Pasadena, Calabasas, Encino, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, and Beverly Hills.
What sets me apart is my meticulous attention to detail, client-focused approach, and strong problem-solving skills, which have consistently supported architects and contractors in delivering exceptional results. I thoughtfully integrate technology, unique materials, and creative concepts to elevate each space and enhance the way my clients live and work.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Working closely with the construction side of interior architectural design is both demanding and high-stakes. Every decision can affect the final outcome, which makes precision and foresight absolutely essential.
This field is just as challenging as any other profession—but when you truly love what you do, the passion drives you through the toughest moments. Over time, the intensity of the work has taught me to stay focused under pressure and to become an effective problem-solver. I learn something new with every project, and I carry that knowledge into the next one.
One of the most critical and difficult stages in any project is the phase before the drywall goes up. That’s when every detail has to be perfect—electrical layouts, plumbing lines, structural elements—because once the walls are closed, there’s no room for error. That’s where experience, attention to detail, and collaboration with contractors make all the difference.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I design both residential and commercial projects—often from the ground up, all the way through to custom furniture design. My work is known for its seamless blend of architecture, interior detailing, and thoughtful furnishing, ensuring that every layer of the space works in harmony.
What truly sets me apart is a combination of patience, strong social skills, and a deep respect for my clients. I take the time to listen, understand their needs, and guide them through the design process with care and clarity. I pride myself on being detail-oriented and consistently seek out innovative materials and techniques to bring fresh, distinctive solutions to every project.
I’m especially proud of my recent work, which reflects years of hands-on experience, continuous learning, and personal growth. Each project is a culmination of everything I’ve learned—an evolution that allows me to create truly unique, functional, and inspiring environments.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
My dream is too design projects in different states as well.
