Meet Jeff Youngblood of Jeff Youngblood Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Youngblood.

Hi Jeff, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Over the years, my journey has taken me to different places, introduced me to many new people, and allowed me to land on Photography as my career. I started in music as a DJ for about 10 years in the Los Angeles area. Towards the end of this chapter, realized I wanted to be the one capturing the moments of these artists on stage. I spent 5 years in nightclub and live event photography all around California, and even Las Vegas. Throughout this time, I’ve been fortunate to experience different genres of photography and videography. The past few years have allowed me to add Travel, Portrait, Live Theatre and Architecture to my portfolio. Currently, my daily work is Real Estate media, and leaning more into FPV drone work in the coming months for bigger projects.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think every story has up’s and down’s. There were quite a few years of figuring out which direction I wanted to go and how to get there. I took jobs in different media capacities, and looking back, they were great stepping stones for where I landed. Media jobs can be a challenge, especially where the market is oversaturated, but competition just makes you want to work harder to achieve your goals.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Jeff Youngblood Photography?
Jeff Youngblood Photography specializes in Real Estate Media and Marketing in Southern California. More specifically, Residential and Commerical Photography, Videography, Aerial, and 3D home tours. I think what sets me apart for now, is that my business is solely owned and operated. When a client schedules a shoot, they know who they are dealing with from start to finish. Even though I am in the Real Estate space, I enjoy expanding into different areas of photography, and continuously learning new things. As you can see from the photos, I enjoy being versatile. It was extremely tough to pick 8 photos, so check out my website if you’re interested in seeing more!

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I think consistency and good character play a big part in my success. Being consistent with work and high quality service will ensure happy and returning clients. I have clients that have been with me for nearly 10 years because they always know they’ll get quality work, and be treated with respect. Many of my clients have become good friends over the years.
