Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna-Mae White
Hi Jenna-mae , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Northampton, England, and my journey in the arts has been a dynamic one. I’ve had the privilege of working with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the award-winning Frantic Assembly, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, which helped shape my foundation in theatre and performance. I was later awarded a merit-based scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, where I began my career in the US. Since then, I’ve worked on several Tubi movies and had the opportunity to star in fashion campaigns for brands like Rosebibi and AALLYN. With multiple exciting features set for release in 2026, I’m looking forward to what the future holds in this ever-evolving journey.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey hasn’t always been smooth. As an actor, resilience is key. Rejection is part of the process, and learning to embrace it has been a huge part of my growth. Every “no” has only made me stronger, teaching me to push harder, stay focused, and believe in my craft. It’s a tough industry, but each challenge has only fueled my determination to keep moving forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m known for my work as both an actress and a singer, with a diverse range of projects that showcase my versatility. You can see me on *Killer Siblings* on NBC, as well as in multiple Tubi movies and the short film *Gorditx*. I’ve also had the honor of starring in major fashion campaigns for Rosebibi and AALLYN, which has been an exciting aspect of my career. With several films lined up for release and new opportunities on the horizon, I’m looking forward to exploring fresh avenues and continuing to evolve in my career this year. I am really proud of everything I have accomplished so far in my career but I am even more excited about what is to come.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that you have to create your own opportunities and be your biggest advocate in this industry. No one else is going to push you as hard as you can push yourself. It’s essential to step outside of your comfort zone because that’s where the real growth happens. Embracing challenges and taking risks has been key to my journey, and I’ve learned that it’s in those uncomfortable moments where you truly find your strength.
