Hi Lakithia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I developed a profound passion for the arts during my formative years. My engagement with various artistic forms began at a young age, encompassing singing, rapping, writing, and modeling. I frequently performed on stage, engaged in rehearsals, and traveled extensively for artistic endeavors. During my youth, I participated in modeling schools and pursued various opportunities in the field. My ambition to become a well-rounded entertainer was evident from an early age.

By my teenage years, I had entered the music studio, where I began to release albums that were available in stores and online, and I also sold CDs at my performances. Following this, I transitioned into acting, a decision that marked the beginning of a significant and dedicated pursuit of my artistic career. There has been no turning back since that point.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wouldn’t exactly describe my journey as smooth. In this line of work, getting used to rejection becomes second nature. I was chasing after a record contract and auditioning for acting roles, and let me tell you—there was a lot of rejection along the way. There were certainly opportunities that I could have seized if I had been willing to compromise my integrity, but that was never an option for me.

It made for a long, winding road filled with both highs and lows. Yet, through it all, I refused to throw in the towel. I stayed relentless, pushing through every obstacle. The entertainment industry is a tough game; it teaches you how to toughen up and develop thick skin. But I embraced the struggle, knowing it would only make my victories that much sweeter.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
The most significant achievement in my professional portfolio to date is the completion of my book, which I authored and finalized in 2024. This work represents my pinnacle of creative expression and is designed to empower and inspire readers to realize their highest potential, irrespective of gender. I can’t wait for this book to be available this year in 2025. It’s a must have.

The narrative is deeply rooted in themes of personal development and self-actualization, aiming to resonate with both men and women. Alongside my writing, my musical compositions serve a similar purpose; I strive to empower individuals through both mediums.

I have received numerous testimonials from individuals who have found profound inspiration in my music, reporting transformative experiences prompted by the messages conveyed in my songs. These responses validate the impact of my work, as they reveal how my creative outputs facilitate personal growth and motivation among listeners. It is these affirmations that underscore the significance of my efforts, and I take great pride in knowing my contributions are positively influencing the lives of others.

As a creative individual, I have observed that many in this field tend to be extroverted and enjoy an active lifestyle. In contrast, I consider myself more reserved and introverted; I prefer spending time at home. When I am not engaged in work-related activities, I prioritize quality time with my family, as I place great importance on family connections. While I acknowledge my preference for a home-centered lifestyle, I remain committed to fulfilling my professional responsibilities effectively.
