Today we’d like to introduce you to Olga Leonova

Hi Olga, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as an architect, but over time, I realized it wasn’t fulfilling me the way I had hoped. I always had a deep appreciation for art, creativity, and personal expression, and I wanted my work to feel more meaningful and connected to people on an individual level. Taking the leap into tattooing was a risk, but it was the best decision I could have made.

The transition wasn’t easy—I had to start from scratch, build my skills, and prove myself in a completely different industry. But I was passionate and determined, and that drive helped me grow quickly. Now, I focus on creating tattoos that not only look great but also resonate with the people wearing them.

Tattooing has given me a sense of creative freedom and purpose that I never found in architecture. Every piece I create is a collaboration with my clients, and that human connection is what makes this career so rewarding for me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Breaking into the tattoo industry took a lot of hard work, patience, and persistence. In the beginning, I had to prove myself, build my skills, and find my own artistic voice, which wasn’t always easy.

One of the biggest struggles was dealing with self-doubt and the fear of failure. Stepping out of my comfort zone and starting fresh in a new career was scary, but my passion for tattooing kept me going. Learning the business side of things and building a client base also came with challenges, but each obstacle helped me grow. Looking back, every struggle was worth it because now I’m doing what I truly love.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in graphic black and grey realism and stylized portrait tattoos. My focus is on creating bold, expressive designs that not only showcase technical precision but also carry deep personal meaning for my clients.

What I’m most proud of is the trust my clients place in me. Tattooing is an intimate process, and bringing someone’s vision to life in a way that resonates with them is incredibly rewarding.

What sets me apart is my strong sense of composition and attention to detail. I design tattoos to flow naturally with the body, making sure each piece feels intentional and impactful. Beyond the art itself, I also prioritize creating a comfortable experience, ensuring my clients feel heard and confident in their choices.
