Check Out Christian Robbie’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Robbie

Hi Christian, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My twin passions for architecture and writing wouldn’t be what they are today without the works of Edith Wharton. In Wharton’s work, her keen eye includes lush descriptions of social etiquette and interior design that intrigued and captured my imagination. The worlds or art and design have always held a special place in my heart and mind, and I launched my Instagram, Robbie Adobe, in 2018 to share the homes, interiors, histories, and people that have most inspired me. Most importantly as a freelance writer and social media manager, Robbie Adobe has allowed me to showcase my writing while also connecting with likeminded individuals in the architecture and design communities.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
If being a writer and creative individual was easy, I wouldn’t want to do it! Through trial and error, I’ve learned to embrace the whimsies and playfulness inherent in the writing life. For me, the hardest part has always been just sitting down to write, to be patient with myself, and to allow myself the freedom to explore and try new things. While I’m a fan of a good process, I’ve found that a certain level of rigidity stifles my creativity, so I always leave room for a little my imagination to lead the way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a freelance writer and social media manager, I aim to create bespoke, engaging content to help tell stories that enhance brand visibility through strategic content creation, community management, and data-driven optimization to ensure that I am connecting with readers and viewers. My deep knowledge of architecture, design, history, Southern California, and literature allow me to create a wide range of content that genuinely educates, informs, and connects with my audiences.
