Hi Fatima , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As the foundor of Joue ta Vie®, my journey takes me from Paris to Los Angeles, where I transformed my personal and professional challenges into a bestselling life coaching brand and method.
It all began in Paris, in 2010, with a Wake-Up Call: breast cancer, job loss, a new born in my arms, all at the same time! Instead of collapsing, I decided to live to the fullest. A year later, I reinvented myself as a Professional Certified Coach.
In 2013, I moved to Los Angeles – the land of opportunities – where I pursued my learning journey with the best American coaches and healers. I also met an amazing spiritual counselor who encouraged me to follow my calling and become who I was meant to be. Moreover, I did something crazy for a Frenchie: I allowed myself to Dream Big!
In 2015, as a result of my inner journey, I created a speed-coaching game and a 5-steps process that improves self-confidence, work performance, relationships, and well-being in 50 minutes. I named it “Joue ta Vie” which means “play your life”. My goal? Help people unlock their potential, solve their issues, and feel better instantly. Instead of working on themselves, my clients play, and that’s what makes the process simultaneously fast, effective, and deeply meaningful thanks to the therapeutic power of play.
People often ask me how I got the idea to invent a serious game. I guess, I was really inspired by the California mindset characterized by a playful approach to life, and an openness to new ideas. Grounded in positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and self-knowledge, my approach ingeniously combines the French lifestyle of “Being” with the American art of “Doing”. Joue ta Vie®is also a philosophy that means being actor of one’s life and willing to take a risk. And guess what I did? In 2016, I took the risk to invest all my savings to self-publish my coaching game – which immediately became a bestseller!
In 2019, one of the most prestigious French publishing companies asked me to write a self-development book on my proven method. This was a dream come true for me. In 2020, I got invited by Euro Disney company to create and facilitate a coaching workshop at Disneyland Paris for the release of Frozen 2! And in 2021, my coaching game was accredited by the French Department of Education and Health. Another important step towards recognition.
Today, over 400 professionals in Europe (coaches, therapists, teachers, and managers) are trained and certified to use my technique. I taught them how to become more American because French people are “thinkers” not “doers”. These professionals have already helped thousands of people (children, teens, families, couples, individuals, and organizations) to overcome the fear of change, achieve optimal growth and happiness in one session… with 99% satisfaction.
I feel blessed and honored to have been able to popularize the value of life coaching and to contribute to my community.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My personal story proves that we all can restore self-esteem, rebuild confidence and resilience. As long as we dare to be ouselves and take action. Which is the tricky part. And that is why hiring a life coach and/or developing our coaching skills can be very handy. Today, not only I am a cancer-survivor, but I am also the mother of an amazing teenage daughter, a fullfilled wife, a successful life coach and entrepreneur. After 13 years of practice, I am still passionate about my work which is a real passion that allows me to live a purposal life.
Looking back, I would say that the creative process was surprisingly smooth and fun. Commercially speaking, I struggled until I did not target the right audience. At the beginning, I wanted to practice in Los Angeles, but competition was extreme: California is the state with the most number of life coaching businesses in the US. I was about to give up when I met bestselling author Marianne Williamson in Beverly Hills, who told me, “You and I we do the same thing. Why don’t you practice in France while living in L.A.?” And I did so! When I launched my coaching business during a Well-Being Fair in Paris, success was immediate; I did not have to chase it. Joue ta Vie quickly became a successful brand in Europe.
Nothing can stop me now from developing my life coaching business in the US, especially in L.A.!

I help them take care of themselves and break bad habits to achieve their health goals. As an expert on human behaviors and motivation, I support them in overcoming beliefs that sabotage their progress and provide them with creative tools to build self-awareness and make positive choices. Overall, I help them find their own way to perform better and live a good life. I teach them how to become a litle bit Frenchie.
Let me share something surprising about myself… I have psychic abilities. I do oracle readings and give spiritual guidance. As a matter of fact, I channel all my creations. I even crafted my own oracle cards with Berber symbols. It is infused with my cultural and spiritual Algerian heritage. You won’t believe how magical and meaningful it is until you try it!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
When I was a child, I remember having a natural inner connection with God which was quite fascinating considering my family wasn’t religious at all. More strangely, I was visionary : I had a strong vision of both my future life, and humanity’s future. I “knew” I had a mission to accomplish. And years later, here I am accomplishing it!
