When do you feel most at peace?

In a culture that often celebrates hustle and noise, peace can feel rare. Yet, peace is the ultimate prize for so many of us and so we asked folks to reflect on when they feel most at peace.

I feel most at peace when I become completely absorbed in painting-when the world around me fades and I lose all sense of time. In those moments, it feels as thought the work is carrying me, rather than the other way around. It doesn’t happen every time I pick up a brush, but when it does, the experience is transformative.
