Almost 22 weeks and over halfway through this pregnancy. Doing my best to make everyday count, keep healthy foods in the fridge, cook at home, sleep well, save more than I spend and get life in order for baby Lion’s arrival. More than anything today I wanted to stay in bed, but I got dressed and stepped out, reminding myself how committed I am to taking care of our home and livelihood. Let’s talk workouts 🧘🏼‍♀️- but not any kind of workouts- budget FRIENDLY workouts! 🤑 ✨ Don’t get me wrong, I love 💚(overpriced) boutique fitness classes just as much as the next girl but my budget doesn’t allow for those on the reg 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Here are my top hacks for the babe on a budget: @melissawoodhealth – you knew this was coming! I just paid $70 to have ONE YEAR of unlimited streaming of her workouts. Many online workout programs are extremely affordable! Teacher training classes – signup for the studio’s newsletter that you love and you’ll often see they offer teacher training classes for discounted rates or for FREE! Additionally, studios may have special events you can stay in the loop for. For example @bodybysimone Hosts FREE workouts in LA lead by Simone herself when they’re filming for the app! New client specials – oldest trick in the book! But you can always get a discounted first class and even class packages as a new client if you love it. -Event Brite – I’m always on @eventbritela searching FREE fitness events in my area. There are tons all the time! ClassPass – first two weeks are free on @classpass & then you can strategically plan your workout schedule based on maximizing your points! -YouTube- there are SO MANY forms of free workouts on @youtube that you can follow along at home! I put together my first full makeup tutorial and this look is NOW ON IGTV! I talk you through how I achieved this look along with the products I used (products listed in the video)! Now that I tried video, I’m kinda mad at myself for not doing this earlier, haha! But I know exactly why I didn’t. 🎥 I always thought when you put something out there, it’s gotta be perfect. If you’re a creative like me, we all know that that that’s our archenemy of thoughts. Because then you don’t end up finishing or completing things cause it’s gotta be perfect. Ugh, does this sound familiar?. 🎥 But you know what? Done is better than perfect, because perfect never gets done. And after trying it out, I know it’s not perfect, but I had a lot of fun putting it together!. 🎥 I’m hardly the only makeup artist out there, BUT there’s only one me who does it my way. I’ve been doing this for awhile now, and I think it’s about time I started sharing my makeup knowledge on this platform.
