Event Specialist & Interior Designer, Latanza Price, has always had a divine eye for detail and a creative soul for organization and logistics. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Latanza is a California State University, Northridge alumni graduate who attained a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, with an emphasis in Community Affairs, Business Management & Fashion Design. As an African- American/Haitian entrepreneur, businesswoman, and visionary, she “gets things done” and believes “Life is what you make it and time is only a figment of our imagination”. With a corporate background in organizational management, event planning, design, and operational logistics, Latanza has been an asset to many corporations and is well-connected in the entertainment and corporate sector where she has brokered relationships through collaboration, strategic partnerships, and alliances. Latanza has held several corporate positions as a Purchasing Controller at DR Horton, Executive Manager for Guest Experience and Assets Protection at Target Corporation, Programs Coordinator for Unified We Serve at California State University – Northridge, Assistant Facility Manager for Hollywood & Highland Dolby Theatre, Assistant General Manager of Operations for Aldo Groupe Corporation, and Project Manager at Good Fellas Industries.
In knowing her value and passion, Ms. Price launched her global enterprise, Priceless Moments, an event production and management company in 2017. As the Owner/Founder of “Priceless Moments”, she radiates a sincere passion to thrive in momentum through expression of individuality and celebratory bliss. In 2022, she launched her second company, L.P. Interior Designs & Associates, a full-service, multi-faceted interior design & home furnishings firm in the heart of Los Angeles focusing on revealing your vision to life through creative innovation & conceptual design. As Latanza background falls in fashion and business, she learned the intricacies and details of color, combinations, textures, styles, and unique tastes for aesthetics & design. With more than ten years of extensive and direct influence on décor & design, she offers a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward-thinking with a structured, organized, and detailed mentality; enabling her to deliver focused development, follow through and total completion to each aspect of design. She successfully transferred her extensive knowledge and experience in design, eye for quality, superior sense of style, and client-centered approach to business from the world of fashion and events to the “soul” of interior design!
Latanza prides herself on being a strong, fearless, and determined leader who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and driven in service. She continues to soar and thrive through curating “Priceless Moments” in her personal and professional achievements. As a proud Soror of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, she has a commitment of service to others, a passion to empower scholastic merits and excellence, and an admiration for community empowerment as a whole.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Growing up, Latanza was always a “Social Butterfly”. With being an only child, Latanza found herself doodling thoughts and curating different masterpieces through “arts & crafts” that she would spend hours on perfecting. Growing up in a single-parent household, she always kept ways to be creative to make up time that ultimately lead into her career path. In starting both of her companies, Priceless Moments & L.P. Interior Designs; it took a risk on the journey of entrepreneurship but has been the best investment – in time, gratification, & leaving a legacy. When starting a business there is no “one way or right way” to conduct a business, so that was challenging in the beginning. I have learned after several years in the business that it is beneficial to build your own path on an ethical foundation & appreciate every level of journey – one step at a time.
