Rising Stars: Meet Maxine Cox

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maxine Cox.

Hi Maxine, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
An associate working in century city introduced me to an interior designer. Working with him, I grow to love “spaces” in terms of functionality and aesthetics. I knew I always had an interest in designing/Staging. What I learned about myself is that I was very good as well in organizing things & enjoying it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well, it has not been a smooth ride yes the struggle was real. COVID-19 didn’t help either. I miss interacting, socializing and networking with new & interesting people… I missed that

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a professional personal organizer and what I do is provide a more sufficient and smart functional living spaces. Life gets hectic and busy, and trying to maintain an organized home can become a challenge. No matter how small or big the project is you can expect the same approach, sharp eye for details and personal sense of the fine style. I believe that once your life is clutter free. It will definitely be a new lifestyle. I specialize in closet kitchen, garage, etc. what sets me apart from other organizers is that I work very personally and closely with my clients.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I took a risk by starting my own business, Something I never thought about doing. I helped so many people though out the years that needed and enjoyed my services and that’s how I started my own business.
