Arali, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Arali West, pronounced r-a-lee and I’m a Nicaraguan native raised in CA. I take pleasure in simple things like traveling with my family, drinking coffee, listening to music, touring museums, being in nature or cooking (and eating) a great meal. I find enjoyment out of self-expression through working graphic design and photography as well as content creator. I’m happy to chat about all things art!
As a senior graphic designer working 10+ years in the fashion Industry, I design in digital marketing and print mediums for brands and companies such as Nectar Clothing, The LAB, Museum of Ice Cream, Lake Arrowhead Chamber of Commerce, Beach Riot, Amuse Society and more.
I’m a mom of two who enjoys showing my daughters that we are capable of many things, including succeeding in our careers and having children.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a freelancer, work can be unpredictable with workload. You have to take things one day at a time. It’s not for people who want a stable paycheck.

I’m working as a graphic designer for 10+ years with amazing brands as well as recently more content creation. I do mainly digital graphics so I enjoy seeing my work in print.
