Meet Zachary Schorr of Schorr Law in Century City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zachary Schorr.

Zachary, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started Schorr Law almost 15 years ago in 2005. As a young lawyer, I always knew that I wanted to be a true litigator – meaning I wanted to spend time in Court arguing for my clients. I also knew that I had a passion for real estate. I merged these two paths quickly by focusing on becoming one of Los Angeles’ most active real estate litigators. By exclusively focusing on real estate disputes and developing an expertise in these matters, I have been able to attract a cadre of excellent attorneys to work with. Our collective depth of knowledge has allowed us to attract key clients and help resolve high profile real estate disputes for our clients. Today, some 15 years into existence, Schorr Law employs seven real estate attorneys who litigate real estate disputes throughout Los Angeles and throughout California.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As with any business, to be successful you have to constantly reinvent yourself to shift with the market. I have focused on becoming a tactician in the courtroom. By trying cases and becoming a tactician, I have a developed a unique set of skills and system for actually trying cases that allows my aggressive style to shine and sell to juries and judges. More importantly, these are skills that can only be developed through experience and determining what works at trial and what does not.

Please tell us about Schorr Law.
Schorr Law is a law firm that focuses on real estate disputes. We are known nationwide for being leaders in our field because of the complex real estate disputes we handle. I am proud of the high quality work and lawyers we produce. Judges, juries and our clients frequently comment on our high level of preparedness, quality of oral argument, and most importantly our writing. What sets us apart from others is our specialization. By specializing in real estate disputes, we are able to see repeat factual and legal scenarios quite frequently. This means the law we are arguing about we have usually dealt with many times before and know better than our opponents and the judges. And, in some areas, we have even played a big role in developing California law on the topic at issue.
