Today we’d like to introduce you to Wayne Duece.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Wayne. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My name is Dwayne Polk but my friends call me Wayne or Wayneduece or even Duece. The name originated from my childhood nickname Wayne Wayne which is Wayne 2x which is also wayneduece. Growing up, I’m from Compton CA, I played sports, football, basketball and I even ran track. I was pretty decent all around but that just was something I didn’t want to do forever. I would always get people telling that I look like I model or I should be a model, so I put the pads down and gave it a shot. Ever since I started modeling, I had people tell I should’ve never quit and even my own college football coach told me “Football is your only way out in life”.
Hearing stuff like that only motivated me to do more and go harder like I did. I met amazing people along the way that’s showed me and guided me through this process and what this “entertainment world” takes. Now that I’m comfortable doing what I do, I’m starting to branch out into more things like TikTok and YouTube and acting lessons. Just branding myself more these days.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, everyone has struggles and instead of me talking bout them I like to say how I overcame them and it feels so good to get through that rough patch and you how I was able to stay down and strong through it all.

Also, I’m starting a YouTube series called “Game Night” where I bring influencers, rappers, singers, dancers on my show and we play games and compete against each other!! Super cool filming my first episode next week with the rapper Vinny West! So stay tuned for that!!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
In the future, I plan on being in acting classes, taking auditions, booking roles and just investing in brand and becoming and successful businessman all around.
