Meet Tymera Finley of House Of Mera

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tymera Finley.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name is Tymera Finley, I am a 23-year-old fashionista, born and raised in sunny California with incredible expectations and goals. I’ve always been into fashion. Growing up, I loved dressing up and playing around with different accessories. I would never forget how my cousins would come over, and I would style them, putting together all these fabulous looks. It was so much fun! In high school, I was in the theatre arts academy and was able to help design different pieces for our shows. As well as having fashion design as my elective for all four years.

One thing about me is that I’m very graceful, allowing God, my family, and of course fashion to keep me driven. To be totally and completely honest; if it wasn’t designing my own clothes, opening my own clothing store, or styling someone else. Fashion was for sure the field that I would be in. I have always aspired to inspire, and after months of soul-searching, I thought “what better way to express myself than through my own clothing?” I could make money and do what I love. It’s the best of both worlds. I then created “ House Of Mera” It is MY HOUSE! It is a complete and total reflection of myself and my style. I like to consider the “House Of” to be like a HUGE UMBRELLA and door that allows me to fully express my creativity.

Giving me the chance to create endless possibilities. House Of Mera is edgy, and she’s confident. She’s sexy, and she’s fun! She’s daring and beyond spontaneous. She’s driven and oh so fearless. She’s graceful, creating her own path of greatness. She’s larger than life, and over the top. She’s your ultimate Mera Goddess.House Of Mera is edgy, and she’s confident. She’s sexy, and she’s fun! Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No! Of course, my road to success has not been easy. Success itself isn’t easy. Literally, everyday I am faced with a different challenge/obstacle that I fight to overcome. It’s very challenging trying to build a strong and solid foundation all by self.

Without any loans, help, or personal guidance. You literally have to walk by faith and not by sight. I mean your faith and determination has to be so strong that a million people could tell you that “you’re not good enough, you’re never going to make it”, and you still walk and push through as if those words were never spoken. It’s KEY that you BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! Be your biggest fan!

My biggest challenge as of right now is just staying positive despite all that I go through on a personal level. I suffer from anxiety, depression, and anorexia. However this you will never know by just looking at me. Swear I seem as if I am like the happiest person; always smiling and making others smile. I just always try to focus on my purpose and the bigger picture. I’m destined for greatness is what I tell myself every day.

Please tell us about House Of Mera.

Which is an online clothing store providing confident clothing for women of all sizes? House Of Mera is confident and edgy. She’s sexy, and she’s fun! She’s daring and spontaneous. She’s driven and oh so very fearless.

What sets us apart is the way we gracefully create our own paths of greatness, allowing no one to stop us. House Of Mera is larger than life, and beyond over the top. We are your ultimate Mera Goddesses and we wear it proudly.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would definitely have to be when my grandmother and I would go out and play in the rain every time it would rain. Or sometimes we would drink hot chocolate, look out the window, and just watch as the rain would fall.
