Today we’d like to introduce you to Fahim Yusufzai.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My Business was launched originally in Hamburg Germany in 1993. I started working with children and teenagers with social problems and behaviors.
My goal was to introduce Taekwondo by creating an effective way of teaching children who have had issues with focus and discipline and helping channel their energies into improved interactions with others.
Fortunately, I have had a great positive response from the children. As a result of my efforts, I was able to form a community-action organization, called “Sports Against Violence ” and which I thought teenagers Taekwondo and life-skills lessons which helped them straighten-up lives. My organization had earned me 2004 Federal Cross of Merit, from former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, Germany’s highest state decoration. In 2005, I moved to the US.
I continued my teaching of Martial Arts and worked in Orange County with various studios and Psychologists.
I was able to still offer the effective techniques I had previously used in Germany and therefore have helped students in building confidence, respect, and self-discipline. As a Martial Arts master of 25 years of experience, I have truly enjoyed helping children and teenager’s truth Martial Arts. The passion for my work has inspired and motivated to open my own school, called “Therapeutic Martial Arts”.
The goal of my school is to provide students the highest quality martial arts instructions available, in a safe and positive learning environment.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Overall it has been a smooth process.
However, there have been some challenges, such as: building the trust between student and master, keeping children focus and attention.

Therapeutic Martial Arts offers training in Taekwondo, teaching self-esteem trough self-defense.
In Therapeutic Martial Arts. We specialize in collections of techniques that will help physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students. We are most proud of seeing the joy and excitement of parents and students. What sets us apart from others are the techniques and methods we are using in our school.
We unlike traditional martial arts school, we use more settle, calming and less aggressive methods of instructions.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over again, I would not have followed the aggressive and very loud methods of instructions.
