Today we’d like to introduce you to Tara Gerard.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a serial entrepreneur, mom & wifey and love Chasing the Fun!
I grew up in Southern California and had a pretty rough childhood, but I was beyond blessed to have a mom who, through the rough times, always managed to find the fun for us kids.
That meant the world to me and inspired me to want to help others find their fun.
I spent my 20s acting, modeling, appearing in reality tv shows and eventually started my first business called TG Private Label, where we make men’s custom suits for the NHL and MLB.
In my 30’s, I lived between here and Europe and married a Swedish architect. We sadly had our struggles with fertility and I had several miscarriages. But in 2020, the year everyone probably didn’t like so much, that year became my favorite because I had my miracle baby Vienna.
I’m a few years into my 40’s now and it’s by far the best! I spent some time on the board of OC Fashion Week, invested in an all-female marketing and media company, started my newest brand Chasing the Fun and have proudly nursed my baby with liquid gold for three years. Being her mom will literally be the sweetest role of my entire lifetime.
My newest venture, Chasing the Fun, is a lifestyle brand that I hope inspires people to always find their fun. I’m grateful for the struggles I’ve had and I truly hope I can help others with theirs.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road I’ve traveled on has been filled with bumps, swerves and good ‘ol LA potholes. Growing up in a toxic environment could have easily broken me and later in life having so many miscarriages over and over again did almost break me. I was constantly pregnant but with no baby. That was a very difficult time for me emotionally and physically. It also took a toll on my professional life, but I just held on tightly to hope and pushed through, took action and thankfully was rewarded with my precious baby and Chasing the Fun.

Having FUN is an essential part of our well-being. It creates happiness and health. At Chasing the Fun, we hope to inspire others and assist in helping them find their fun. We design and make unique fashion pieces and are currently working on something even BIGGER that will be launching this year, which can help anyone and everyone. We truly care about our community, wish to add value to their lives and achieving this would be our greatest honor. So, let the FUNNN begin friends!
