Meet Stephanie Solomon of SGE Realty INC in West Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Solomon.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Stephanie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I first worked as a casting director, where I manifested into many roles. Although this position introduced me to a vast amount of famous faces, I was not making enough money to pay my bills or even survive. I knew I possessed the skill set to pursue a career that not only elicited financial freedom but gave me a platform to help someone’s livelihood. This dream of pursuing my interests generated in discovering a career in real estate. I worked as an assistant in the real estate business for two years, gaining invaluable experience and realizing real estate was where my passion lies. My passion in real estate led me to take a risk on myself. I was terrified, shaking, and nervous to start my own real estate business, but the investment in my company, SGE Realty, unequivocally paid off: Nick Cannon, Kevin Hart’s team, Wiz Khalifa, and members of the NFL are all clients I have had the pleasure to work alongside. My real estate company excels because of my desire to give my client experience rather than simply conducting a transaction to buy a home. I have had no easy breaks in this industry; no investors or sponsorships were calling my name––SGE Realty was fostered by me, and created out of relentless hard work and the refusal to give up. Creating a successful company is exemplified through my clientele; many of my high-profile clients always come back to me because they know I will go above and beyond to make their experience extraordinary.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As a young, attractive woman, I have faced countless hardships in having to prove to others that I am an experienced broker that can handle whatever comes my way. Being harassed by men because of the way I look or being bullied by naysayers on my social media platforms is only a sliver of the challenges I face daily. I feel propelled to overcompensate my abilities towards a client because I am young, despite all of the experience and networking I have under my belt. When my mom died of cancer when I was 23, my dad left us. Feeling broken and horribly lost, I was now responsible for raising my 12-year-old brother. My world was morosely shaken as I now transformed into the matriarch of the family. Losing my mother at such a young age while simultaneously being responsible for my brother would either make me or break me. I used my mother’s passing as a motivator to achieve the goals I had always dreamed about. Whether it is losing a parent, being circumvented out of a deal, or a client backing out of a sale unexpectedly, I have learned to get back up again whenever I am pushed out. If this industry has taught me anything, it has reinforced me of my value as a woman and how powerful I can become professionally––even when situations attempt to knock me down or question my worth.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the SGE Realty INC story. Tell us more about the business.
SGE Realty’s core values lie in empowering women to seek professional careers. Together, we are bending the social norms of a woman’s role in society: she can be a mom and an entrepreneur. Collectively, I have 20 agents working for SGE Realty, whom I inspire daily to achieve capital results. One of my proudest moments was when I attained my broker’s license; becoming a broker and passing the rigorous exam to achieve this title was exceedingly challenging but fulfilling. Becoming a broker has inspired others in my life to obtain a real estate license. Success, to me, is helping others, and I am able to guide my agents in excelling in their careers and advance my clients’ portfolio of real estate properties. Located on the famously lively Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, SGE Realty concentrates on selling high-end luxury homes and accommodations. My company relies on adaptability to ensure that our customers receive the home or rental they need within minutes. SGE Realty is, in essence, a one-stop-shop for our high-profile clients: we rent homes accompanied by all the amenities one needs, whether it be a full-service chef or a limousine to whisk our clients off and reach their destination promptly. My team and I are accessible 24/7–– whenever my client may need me, I am a phone call away. My Instagram platform is also integral in creating boundless relationships and networking opportunities for SGE Realty; in this day and age, social media acts as a collaborative powerhouse that emphasizes the diligent work I do to make every client’s experience momentous. SGE Realty generates a sense of community with our clients; I am able to critically comprehend what my client desires, provide attentive involvement to ensure they love their new home, and foster lasting relationships that are rooted in reliability and respect.

At SGE Realty, we are committed to creating a memorable niche that relies on innovatively thinking about how we can meet our clients’ needs in every possible way. Instilling hope in others to believe they can reach financial freedom makes my company a galvanizing atmosphere. When you leave this earth, no one is going to talk about how much money you made; they are going to talk about how you lifted your community. In the end, circumstances do not matter, but the character does.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Bad luck knocked on my door when my mom died of cancer when I was 23; after this heartbreaking ordeal, my dad left us. Feeling broken and horribly lost, I was now responsible for raising my 12-year-old brother. Losing my mother at such a young age while simultaneously being responsible for my brother would either make me or break me. I used my mother’s passing as a motivator to achieve the goals I had always dreamed about. These unfortunate circumstances built the person I am today, and with that being said, I believe I can conquer anything. Whether difficulties emerge in my personal life or business, if I was able to survive the biggest loss anyone could imagine in my life… I now know nothing can stop me.
