Meet Spencer Trinwith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Spencer Trinwith.

Spencer, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My love for acting started at an early age; however, I didn’t try my hand at it until I was well into high school. It was a “love at first sight” moment for me, acting very quickly became the thing I would dedicate myself to and has been that way ever since.

Has it been a smooth road?
Yes, it has been a smooth ride, right into an eighteen car pile up! A mess! And that’s how it’s supposed to be! Success has this way of dressing itself up as looking seamless like there’s no effort involved. When actually it takes an incredible amount of vulnerability and hearing a lot of “no” but continuing on determined nonetheless, having an unwavering belief in yourself that reaches much further than just career. I found myself having to practice that in ways I never thought when I had a health setback that left me disabled for a number of years, Degenerative Disc Disease.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am an actor and a writer. I am particularly proud of my first Pilot TV show as head writer. It’s called The King of K Street, a political comedy that will be filming this summer.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Los Angeles is one of the great hubs of show business. My advice is: just get out there! Get involved in any, and every way possible. Start building your network. The most important step is taking your idea’s or your interest and putting it into action.
