Meet Sara Troy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Troy. Them and their team share their story with us below:

”Sara Troy started “The Art of Positive Living” in 2001 and has been teaching personality, self-identity and soul development for over 21 years using tools from 48 years of accumulated knowledge. Sara is also a spiritual counselor by God’s design, who can see the possibilities of your purpose in life and can draw you a map in getting to where you are meant to go, but you have to walk it. She has an unbridled passion for helping people to live in the full embracement of self in their knowingness.

April 2012 Sara made a personal discovery of self, one that would change her life direction forever. She was presented with an opportunity to host her own talk show on a small blog talk radio station called “Authentic You media” where she hosted her show live for 13 months before going out on her own with her own station “PLV Radio” now called Self-Discovery Media. Now in her 9th year of hosting her own network as of June and 10 years of hosting in April, this woman has finally found her groove in life, and in just over 9+ years she has interviewed more than 3000+ incredible inspirational guests from around the globe on her many show genres.

Wanting to reach out to even more listeners and to bring greater numbers of inspirational people together and share their stories of life skills and inspiring stories of courage and strength, she decided to branch out and invite others to become our Orchard Mentors who are sharing their services with those in need of them. Seeing all the accumulated wisdom of knowledge ready for clicking, Sara decided that these wonderful services need to have a home where people could hear from the Mentors themselves and choose who felt right for them, and receive financial help when needed to get back on their own feet with the Fund-Action program.

Sara has also presented a new opportunity to a different arena being a Mentor or Practitioner or Inspirer here on Self Discovery and our Orchard of Wisdom. With 10+ years of podcasting experience and 9 plus years on Self Discovery Media, Sara Troy has lived within the philosophy of soul authenticity. “With thoughtful guidance from extraordinary people from all across the world, we have come together to share those stories that make a difference in the lives of others. Within these stories, we find truthful inspiration that helps us to seek solutions to our own unique challenges. Through the art of conversation and storytelling, Self Discovery Orchard of Wisdom shows invites you to participate in taking charge of your own life.

Sara is a mother of 3 adult children and 1 Grandson and another on the way, whom she is very proud of as they have found their path in life.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Sara did not finish school but has learned about life through the hard knocks of life. She is dyslexic and has fibromyalgia, and has had asthma all her life. She has chosen not to let this stop her, even though it means she has to work in her own paramotors.

Sara is a professional Podcaster with 3000+ shows under her belt. With her own network, SelfDiscoveryMedia.com, she does anything from 4-8 shows a week, each being an hour plus. I love the impact the shows have had in helping people on their life’s journey and the number of people who have embraced their calling to be productive contributors to humanity and the planet. Sara also teaches The Art of Positive Living with the True Colours and View of Life programs.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Sara’s whole life has been a risk, with every breath she takes and in her attitude in redirecting so many times in life. She has been an immigrant twice, a business owner, an investor, and more, each of them a risk.
