Today we’d like to introduce you to Rudolph Nobles III.
Rudolph, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been an Entertainer. As a kid, I was often requested or paid to dance like Michael Jackson. Requested to sing lead in the choir. That was then now I consider myself an artist/actor/chef. I’ve been a rapper since 1996. I’ve traveled to places such as Japan where I headlined shows in the Greater Tokyo and Yokohama areas. I performed at major clubs connecting with some of the hottest acts during the early 2000s. I built my brand while in the Navy.
In the Navy I fed thousands as a Culinary Specialist onboard USS Bunker Hill and USS Vincennes. Once out of the military I followed my dream of becoming an Entertainer/Entrepreneur. And now with the help of Super Producer Kevin Posey many songs have formulated. The team has recently helped me drop 2 albums and a single. The Recipe Vol 1 was internationally produced entirely by Kevin Posey. The album Distinguished Gentlemen was co created with the super talented Joblazha. The Single called Shameless ft Kevin Posey was just dropped Jan 2020. I also feature with Major Artist Mazbouq, John Gives and Kevin Posey on the international sensation Letter to My Future Self (LTMFS).
I’ve been very diverse in my music and you will notice once you’ve had a listen. I’d like to share my tale with the world and I am campaigning now for that to come to fruition. Being a veteran I want to give back so I joined the non profit organization “In Moms Arms” (IMA Foundation) to tackle some of the issues veterans face when returning to civilian life.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road. My first challenge was reintegration into society once out of the military. I was unaware of the resources that were available to me. I felt like I was useless and depression set in. I wasn’t the same person as before the Navy. It changed me and it wasn’t evident at first. The biggest challenge was not having the support I thought I needed. I had injuries that prevented me from maintaining gainful employment and dealing with homelessness once I got out of the military hindered my Hope’s of living a productive lifestyle. I couldn’t get to the studio regularly. My health was not at it’s best and I felt as if I was in a boat up a stream without a paddle. There were challenges in my life that hindered me from self-realizing my true potential. I faced my fears and got back on track. It took many years but I think I have a near hold on the thick of things.
CHOZXN – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My audience should know that they will definitely be able to relate to my music and get lost in it. You can find me on all streaming platforms. I specialize in the art of perfection being a Virgo. Whether it is cooking up dishes or cooking up some lyrical treats. I find a way to feed the desire. Music has been a form of healing for me. It was always a way for me to loose myself and wonder in the majestic vibrations of the perfect mesh of sounds. New singles every month and The Recipe Vol 2 is on the way.
What sets me apart from others is that I have that determining factor for success because I have failed and I realized that I can do anything that I set my mind to. I believe I am put into situations because I am one of the many key factors to the situation. Sometimes I feel like Neo in the Matrix. My music and my food will help to heal the world someday soon. I hope that the viewer of this article will join the journey.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
To me success is determined by the achievement you have set. Once that goal is accomplished then one can feel that success has arrived because the objective is fulfilled. I for one feel very successful in that I’ve accomplished a lot in such a short span of time with the accompaniment of extraordinary individuals. And there’s much more to come. Thank you for letting this interview be one of my successes.
