Princess Estocia, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I began helping new mothers reclaim their body back with the bengkung belly binding method back in 2013, as part of my birth and postpartum doula practice. After my first couple of years serving clients with the bind and the surgical birth of my daughter, I recognized a deeper need for honoring the womb and the transition into motherhood as sacred—a recognition that continues to shape the work we do here at BelliBind.
With over a decade of collective experience serving new mothers, our team of BelliBind Specialists make arranging in-home postpartum belly binding care a smooth and reliable process. That was very important to me when deciding to offer this service full time, that every new mom got an expert bengkung binding done in home on a tri-weekly basis on top of our trademarked BelliBind spa-like experience.
We want every mom to know the HEALING power of a custom fitted belly bind—after all, every mother is deserving of this essential postpartum care.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Being a niche service always has its advantages but one struggle we faced was spreading the awareness of the healing power traditional belly binding has on the new mothers body. As one of the first to offer this service to women in the USA, specifically in the west I was navigating uncharted waters which can be dark and lonely. However, with each mother I embraced with the bengkung belly binding I saw the moms light shine brighter and thats what fueled me to keep going!
As a doula, I often provided bengkung belly binding as an addition to my postpartum doula support. However, after having a surgical birth with my first born, I understood even more the positive impact the custom wrap had on a new mothers body and through the passion of my own experience, poured my energy into spreading the service all over Los Angeles.
Being a MomPreneur comes with a whole other side of challenges with building a brand and juggling mom life… It is a constant balancing act, even with a team of five.
Thanks to our local moms and our wonderful BelliBind Specialists, spreading the word of our service, we have attracted many high profile and celebrity clients along the way. BelliBind in the last three years has grown into a most talked about boutique service in mom communities and we couldn’t be happier taking care of all these SACRED WOMEN!

BelliBind is a custom in-home wrap & recovery service for the new mother. We are, however, MORE THAN JUST A WRAP!
It is not enough to just bind a woman’s body after childbirth and say ok lets “Get your Body Back.” The time to say YES to truly nurturing the new mother is now.
More and more women are understanding how their postpartum recovery can have a major impact on their long term health. With over 50% of women experiencing some form of prolapse and nearly 40% having diastasis recti after childbirth it is important to us to offer total wellness care.
All of our in-home BelliBind packages we offer, include bodywork to soothe a tired mother’s body and meditations to comfort her mind. We also include a wellness visit, where we assess for the previously mentioned issues to provide gentle guidance and resources to further aid in the new mother’s recovery.
Our custom-fitted wraps are ultra-supportive and is our specialty, but it’s the full BelliBind Experience that keeps moms investing in our postpartum care.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
BelliBind ® has been growing at an amazing rate! We are excited to launch our online BE™ Specialist training in January 2020. This means we will be offering services to more cities across the U.S.
