Thanks for sharing your story with us Pozi. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Founded by Peter Pozirekides in 1979, Pozi’s Grill fast became the go-to spot for delicious authentic Greek food.
We are very proud in continuing this long family tradition up to this day.
Today, we are “Pozi’s Fresh Grill” but we still offer authentic, made-from-scratch delicious FRESHLY prepared Greek Cuisine in a casual-fast environment.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The recession of 2007.
The closure of the movie theatre across the street.
The change in management-ownership.
The closure of the restaurant for 3-4 months,
My heart attack three years ago.
Pozi’s Fresh Grill – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a “hands-on” restaurant where the owner “cares”
I personally every aspect of the operation 7 days a week.
We know most of our customers on a first-name basis along with their preferences (no onion, extra sauce gluten-free etc.)oversee.
We specialize in healthy authentic Greek-Mediterranean food.
I am most proud of the quality of my food, its distinctive flavor, and its home-made cooking style.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Our customer’s loyalty.
The fact that they (almost) exclusively cater with us all their events and parties.
