Meet Paris Estrella

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Paris Estrella. Paris was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Matthew Bravo.

Paris, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
My name is Paris Estrella, and my love for music began at a young age – around 8 or 9 years old, although the exact age eludes me. Headphones on, I would escape into a world of rock music, particularly drawn to the genre growing up in the beautiful state of Washington. One of my earliest memories is listening to Evanescence and transcribing the lyrics. Soon after, I began writing my own rock songs, often exploring themes of darkness and negativity. As an emotional child, I found it easier to express myself through lyrics than in conversation. Looking back, that was the start of my musical journey. One day, my mother stumbled upon my song journal and became understandably concerned about the themes of darkness and negativity that dominated my lyrics. In response, she suggested that I try rapping instead. At the time, both she and my step-dad were making Christian rap, and I was fortunate enough to grow up in a home studio environment, observing the behind-the-scenes process of recording a song. Music was like another family member in our household. Finally, at the age of 13, I wrote my first rap, which was quite motivational in nature. My mother played an instrumental role in my development as an artist. She would have me repeat lines over and over again until they sounded exceptional. I owe a big shout-out to her for her great ear and for pushing me to deliver my best.
After my mother suggested I try rapping, I quickly fell in love with the ability to deliver my lyrics with an attitude and a funky flair. The creative process of songwriting, including mixing different flows within one song, fascinated me. I continued to write many songs, and my biggest fan and supporter was always my sweet mother. It’s worth mentioning that I’m actually the oldest of seven kids, and my siblings were a huge source of inspiration for my music. My two younger brothers began writing their own songs and raps, and I jokingly refer to us as the next Drake, Nicki, and LiL Wayne.
At the age of 18, my life took a series of twists and turns when I decided to drop out of high school and move in with my then-boyfriend. Prior to my departure from high school, I was able to perform at the homecoming assembly, a first-time accomplishment in our town of less than 5,000 residents. Following my move, my boyfriend and I continued to make music together, but our struggles led to nearly two years of homelessness. Although we continued to create music, we failed to make progress, and I slowly lost confidence and became distant from my family. However, a miracle occurred when we broke up, and I was able to get my life back on track.
In late 2019, at the age of 21, I made the move from Washington State to Las Vegas, Nevada, where my mother, siblings, and grandmother resided. This move was a turning point for me, as it allowed me to embark on a journey that my 18-year-old self could never have imagined. Over the course of three years, I began performing my music at various venues, receiving invitations to attend music events, and launching my modeling career. Along the way, I ha the pleasure of meeting remarkable individuals from all walks of life. It all started with cultivating self-love, continuing my love for expression through music and songwriting, and embracing my mother’s advice to live in love, not fear.
As I mentioned before, I began my music career in Las Vegas by performing at various venues. I started with open mic nights at places like Cork & Thorn, The Baobab Stage, and ZAI nightlife. I even had the opportunity to perform on the iconic Fremont Street Experience. These experiences gave me the push I needed to take things to the next level, and I was soon invited to perform at larger events like a farmers market in downtown Las Vegas and the First Friday community festival. Through these opportunities, I not only honed my performance skills but also discovered the art of networking, which I quickly grew to love.
Through networking, I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful woman who started her own modeling agency, Saetality Models, and she asked me to join. That’s where my modeling journey began. Thanks to this agency, I got to experience the behind-the-scenes of shooting a music video, which was very beneficial since I’ll be making my own music videos one day. I would like to take this opportunity to shout out all the music artists whose music videos I was able to be a part of, such as Catcha VyBe, BPash, Zeba Dozier, Lit Reeezy, Levy The Full Circle, Griff, and Shordie Shordie. Additionally, through atmosphere modeling, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with DJ RADD 1, who ultimately invited me to Atlanta for the Core DJ’s 15th Anniversary Retreat in the summer of 2021. This opportunity opened doors to many more connections, being featured in Atlanta’s Royal Photography, and even getting to meet Akon at his very own Embr Lounge.
In late 2021, I was invited back to Atlanta to perform at the Lucky 7 Showcase: Female Edition, hosted at Da City Hookah Cafe. Since I would be performing alongside all female artists, I decided to wear a crown to symbolize my role as a queen among queens. This small act of empowerment resonated with me, and I continued to wear the crown to various occasions, from running errands to future performances. I wore the crown proudly as a symbol of self-love and aimed to inspire others, regardless of gender, to find their own unique ways of embracing and celebrating themselves.
Next on my journey was Los Angeles, California, and I was determined to leave my mark there. I walked red carpets, always wearing my crown to represent my self-love journey. I even rocked the runway at The Globe Theatre with stunning body paint from the renowned JohnBorn. Along the way, I met Aaron McCrae, who invited me to perform at an artist showcase at his mansion in the hills. Living the superstar life in LA helped me step out of my comfort zone and grow as a person. These memories will always hold a special place in my heart.
Currently, I am residing in Las Vegas, NV with my family, reflecting on my journey so far. Recently, I have achieved a new milestone by getting my first song distributed on TikTok and Youtube, all thanks to TuneCore. In addition, I also had the opportunity to collaborate with R3SET, where I wrote a rap about their stress support supplements as part of a campaign. As I continue to explore the world of digital content creation, I am thrilled to see what the future holds for me. These achievements are just the beginning, and I cannot wait to see where my passion for music and modeling takes me next.

Please talk to us about your creative work and career. What should we know?
Absolutely, it’s important for readers to know that my artist name is Paris Estrella, the same as my given name. I believe in authenticity and want my listeners to know that what they hear is the real me, not just a persona. Music is my passion and has been instrumental in helping me overcome my personal struggles. My goal is to use the power of words to inspire others and encourage them to break out of their own negative thought patterns. I believe that it’s perfectly normal to experience a range of emotions, and I want to celebrate and express the complexity of the human experience. Ultimately, my aim is to turn negatives into positives and help others do the same. I write and record my own songs using my home studio. For me, it’s a spiritual connection that I cherish with that intimate moment with the mic, headphones, and laptop. Additionally, I’m passionate about creating digital content such as vlogs for YouTube, TikTok videos, and reels. I also love promoting products by writing songs about them, like the campaign I did with R3SET where I wrote an a cappella rap about their stress support supplements. As an artist, I pour my heart and soul into the stories and messages I convey through my music. Every song is carefully crafted with patience, love, and deep meaning, drawing inspiration solely from my own experiences. I strive to create music that speaks to everyone, regardless of age or gender, from a universal standpoint. If you’re looking for my music, you can find it on SoundCloud under my artist name “Paris Estrella”. As for my vlogs, I love taking my audience on an adventure, whether it’s something completely random or more planned out. Matthew Bravo and MB Marketing have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Matthew Bravo and MB Marketing and your experience with them.
My encounter with Matthew was a delightful experience. It all started when we were both out exploring our new city, Los Angeles, and our paths crossed serendipitously. We immediately hit it off, connecting through our shared sense of adventure and positive energy. Matthew shared with me that he was a social media content creator, which I found to be incredibly interesting. We exchanged contact information that night, and I have since been able to learn a lot from him in that regard. From the moment I saw Matthew in action, I was filled with admiration, respect and love for his work. He generously invited me to join him in creating content for SomiSomi, and I was blown away by the amount of dedication and attention to detail that he brought to the project. He meticulously crafted every shot, ensuring that everything was visually appealing and well thought-out. I was also fortunate enough to accompany him to the Tupac Shakur – Wake Me When I’m Free exhibit, where he once again demonstrated his expertise and dedication. We were among the last to leave the exhibit, as he took the time to capture all of the best shots and videos possible.
We were able to seamlessly transition between work and leisure, and even after we finished capturing content, we had a great time hanging out and bonding. Matthew is someone who truly knows how to maximize his time and make the most out of every opportunity. I am confident that I could wholeheartedly recommend him to any brand seeking content creation services.
